COVID-19 by the Numbers/Facts

Virus name: SARS-CoV2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-CoronaVirus; 2 because it's related to the first SARS outbreak in 2003)

Disease it causes: COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 19)

Originally called: 2019 novel coronavirus (novel because it's a new strain of corona, discovered in 2019)

Effectively, this virus is natural-jungle no different than a lion choosing the weakest in a herd to attack and then devour.

Some experts state everyone in the world will eventually be exposed to this virus. Of those, around 17% won't experience any symptoms at all - they are the strongest of the heard. 80% of those exposed will experience flu-like symptoms, symptoms stronger in some and less in others, but all will survive.

For 3% of those exposed - the weakest among us - the attack will end up killing them. The virus enters their lungs and causes their lungs to begin filling up with fluid, which leads to pneumonia, which leads to ARDS, Acute Respiratory DistressSyndrome; basically, you can't inhale air and exhale CO2 as normal because your lungs are so full of fluid - you're basically drowning. This is when these folks are put on ventilators - because they can't breathe on their own. The lack of oxygen then starts to kill body organs: heart, liver, kidneys, etc. This is how they die. At that point, there is nothing that can be done for them: 50% of those ventilated die.

Just like after the lion's brought down her weak prey and is already sinking her teeth into it.

Alas, for all those exposed to SARS-CoV2 and survive, their immune systems become even naturally stronger against the virus the next time they're exposed to it. The strong don't just survive, they get stronger. And for them, the living, life goes on. So, STOP all your pathetic, emotionally hyperbolic, sensationalist drama queen crap and ENJOY to the fullest EVERY breath you're blessed to take.

For, as always, it's a beautiful day to die.

Well I'd like you to name the experts who are stating 100% exposure. That would be a nice start.

Second right now about 10% of recovered COVID-19 patients have reinfected, which leads to the possibility of minimal built in resistance to the virus after exposure. So there may be no long term "herd effect".

While you nicely explain the reality of dying from pneumonia, it adds little to the topic at hand. Pneumonia is the lungs reaction to an infection, and COVID-19 is only one of the many cause's of it, and i admit, not the type of death I will ever want to experience.

I have noticed you like to talk the talk about this, so I wonder why you don't walk the walk? Go out, book a trip to New York, or which ever city becomes the next big out break, do us all a favour and see if you fall in the "survival of the fittest" category, or if you are just one of the weakest? Only one way to find out, right?

Sucks to naturally succumb to Darwinism, doesn't it?

And just think: even a wannabe like you can do absolutely nothing to avoid eventually dying, too. :(

Poor widdle wormfood's perpetually starving ego can't help but continue to project unto others how much she really, really cares more!

Me? As easily noticed by one not with bigoted, biased, partisan, totally subjective eyes, I quit attending this thread as soon as I discerned that there are no numbers, from any source, which can objectively be considered reliable. Since then, the more I've learned about how numbers accounted to this emotionally hyperbolic infectious virus are assigned, that analysis is even more validated.

But, hey, partisan piece of subjective shit you gotta swallow blindly like partisan piece of subjective shit you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Regardless: I have no issue with you naturally attacking with numbers as subjectively agenda-driven as you can't keep yourself from doing. I mean, for a wannabe who proclaimed the "genocide of the Kurds" without numbers at all, and who still can't flatly admit what a bozo proclamation that was, you, yourself, fully expose your naturally pathetic shortcoming(s) as totally obvious. Good job!

I started consuming Australian press for the covid latest
cause fed up with the pro/anti-Trump-covid pre-electoral stuff.

It's so strange how often and forthrightly mainstream Australian publications are now focusing on China's nefarious role.
So so much more than American conservative sites do.

I speculate that they're doing it because it was the last straw for them:
China attempted to infiltrate Australia's government in 2019, after industrial spying
China secretively plundered Australia of over 100 tons of medical supplies over 2 months, whilst refusing to warn the world about the outbreak.

I wouldn't like to be a Chinese minority right now.

Thirty days from now the emotionally hyperbolic hysteria will have naturally run its course, its gimpy lemming spreaders already well into their search for their next panic epidemic to infectiously pimp.

https://forum.literotica.com/showpost.php?p=92161888&postcount=3381

Just a week in and already the emotionally hyperbolic hysteria of before is noticeably dissipating. Except it to diminish even more and faster as enough hard data about COVID-19 naturally reveals itself. In fact, I can easily see virtually all the emotionally hyperbolic hysteria gone a week from now...

...just like the data now reveals than any normal person - no matter their age - who becomes infected with COVID-19 will naturally, via their normally healthy immune system, kill this virus within themselves in 2 weeks, give or take a couple/few days.

Besides population density, there is one other unarguably clear indicator of the virus affecting at its worst: underlying serious medical conditions of every stripe. Doesn't matter how old or young: older folks with healthy immune systems naturally fend off and kill the virus just as well as young folks with healthy immune systems do. Conversely, young folks with weak immune systems die from this virus just like old folks with weak immune systems.

Keep in mind that there are more old folks with weak immune systems, naturally because of old age, than there are younger folks with weak systems, naturally because of their naturally healthier younger age.

The average age of an American employed worker is 42.

The odds of that 42-year old American worker contracting COVID-19 are no more consequential than that same person contracting influenza - their immune system is either healthy enough to naturally deal with this virus or influenza, or it's not and that - the weak immune system - is why they die from this virus and influenza.

That average 42-year old American employed worker with a normally healthy immune system has a better chance of contracting and dying from smallpox, yes SMALLPOX, than COVID-19.

Simply: if you're immune system is just normally healthy, it's virtually impossible that it won't naturally deal and kill off this virus all by itself, just as it's designed to against every other threat of similar kind.

Shorter: you can't die from COVID-19 if your immune system is healthy.

So, how about dumping the emotionally hyperbolic hysteria right now and get back to logical life by just sensibly quarantining the weakest among us to protect them and help them heal, instead of locking-down all the normally healthy people, too, like Blurt bitch mommy-of-all wannabes on übermeth?

I already posted the information on this so I am not about to bother again.

For those who wish to read the information, the link is below, which basically repudiates everything Pigsty is posting above....

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-age-sex-demographics/

BTW, when are you going out and starting to get your herd immunity working?

Currently from the 62,097 known COVID-19 cases in the US which have had an outcome, 37,449 have recovered, while 24,618 have scummed to the virus.

According to Pigsty, you all have nothing to fear, except fear itself....
