Course, the husband posts a blurb online and others love the movie as the wife is a "10"

Can these characters be liked?

What if they have the wife's best friend and her husband come in to help improve the movies? And of course, after a couple bottles of wine the the girls end up in bed (as all you men love that stuff).....

can you still like these characters?

So true, however, I was thinking more about mainstream erotica. Literotica does allow for incest and other stuff, so the audience is larger. I was worried about outside of the literotica world

Honestly there really isn't an outside literotica for erotic stories. Granted there are publishers who do erotic, but honestly I'm pretty darn sure their buyers also visit here. There are other erotic story sites, but far as I know this is the first result on a search.

Well perhaps not if you are looking for underage sex stories. Besides for those perverts people come here. There is one last thing, incest is done up for porn movies as well. Can't get any more mainstream when you are talking about people having sex that is recorded in some way.

jen, your best bet if your interest is traditional publishing of erotica to become sufficiently recognized that you're invited to have your work published in an anthology. a lot of them are annual, so maybe check out the publisher sites.

you can probably do a good bit of research using amazon, or if you prefer at your local library via books in print.

sure, those are likeable characters but think about how to make what happens relate-able. maybe there isn't sex with the videographer but it spurs a fantasy that makes for pillow-talk.

getting a foursome going is a harder sell, i think. if you establish some measure of closeness and a sexual curiosity between the four--depending on the choreography of the sex--that could work but it would take skill. many people regard sexual infidelity, whether with consent or not, as a problem.

You could add a funny twist to this.

They wanted to watch the movie they made on the big screen TV. By some mistakes in hooking up the cables (kind of a push here), they ended up broadcasting it to the whole building.

I think they can be liked, if you put the quirks in to make them likable.

Maybe they try to make the porn movie, but hubby is all thumbs with the camera and wife starts nagging him. They wind up screaming at each other. This happens a half dozen times in various ways. Their tantrums always wind up in mad urgent sex.

Finally in despair, wife asks best friend for help. Best friend is devoted to her hubby, says she'd be happy to but he's got to be there. They gather for the shoot, now the hubby can't get it up with these other people around. Now the atmosphere isn't right, even though they've got people to handle the cams. They try to have some wine and relax and do the shoot. Hubby still can't do it. Wife starts into ribbing him and they start arguing. Here it goes again. Best friend does what she thinks is right, she goes over and puts her mouth on his pole. It immediately goes to attention. Wife is shocked and starts to say something, friend shuts her up with a long deep kiss.
