As rumor has it, there's one in progress.

Bolsonaro is not going to accept the election. But he's a bit more proactive, since he control police and as it appears at least partially army.

So, there's concentrated effort to obstruct and not let people in Lula voting districts to vote.

who said I do?
So in other words....you don't think the people's choice is acceptable? So overthrow the election? Like what you attempted here?

Understand...people like me will fight back and I am not a good person

We know that seditionist.
I am a realist. It will happen. One Party or the other...it is inevitable. So why not accept this reality and work towards a peaceful solution?

no body votes for a commie

no one voted for Biden

no one gives a shit about a pussy like you

gonna throw your purse at us?
Just remember those words when you succeed in your next coup attempt and people like me bring you down. Purses properly loaded are awesome weapons

We don't want any of that stinkin' will of the people. We'll have the gubmint that I choose. And anyone who doesn't like it is a commie.

In many ways...Brazil faces the exact economic destruction the US has felt due to Trumpism...and what Biden has not really been able to solve. All of Biden's key legislation is really just paper to bolster an economy in downswing designed to keep the market steady. It doesn't solve the core issues that more people are working more and getting poorer...it just delays the inevitable. I don't know how countries can fix what is happening without sacrificing a major portion of the population?

Let's just pause to note how bizarre it is for a former U.S. president to butt into the politics of another country in this way. It's not hard to imagine some Brazilians thinking, "Who the fuck is this guy to tell me how to vote?"

Anyway, good on Biden and the other leaders in the hemisphere who have quickly spoken out in endorsement of the legitimacy of the vote. Biden has more reason than most to realize that nothing good comes from indulging a sore loser.

The corruption returns to power.

Funny how rarely things change in South America.
Well, they kicked the guy out once already, so I hope he enjoys his brief return...

Democracy is not a natural fit there. After they shake off American influence, they will be doing something else.

it'll be interesting to watch the fallout from this: will there be an equivalency of jan 6th there? will the population find a better solution?

if the armed forces join with bolsonaro and go 'civil war' to overthrow things, will that be the kind of scenario that would scare enough politicians in the US to strengthen the voice of the voters and diminish power grabs by far right wingers?

the very fact that trump supports bolsonaro tells people all they need to know about how t is the most divisive, power-mad, own-population-threatening president the US has ever had.

I agree with this...and why I posted what I did earlier. It is a flip of the coin right now. I can guarantee there are some armed forces willing to start a coup because of the corruption money they will collect being in charge

People are working and getting poorer due to Bidennomics. Inflation is Biden’s mess, inflation is outstripping wage increases. You and KeithD should get a rubber room together to deal with your TDS issues.
