Could you ever be dominated by an idiot?

Or maybe not an idiot, but how bout someone who wasn't as smart as you? Could you ever be dominated by an Albertan farmer who'd flunked out of the tenth grade?

Just curious.

Depends if your talking about mental domination or just physical right?? I think that it comes down to your use of imagination and creativity. If you use both of those then you should be able to overcome many obsticals that face you.

never. my man has to be at least as smart as i am if he is to dominate me (though not necessarily in the same areas). lack of education doesn't preclude intelligence, however.

No. Which is probably why I went through guys quickly in highschool. It's rare for a guy to be as smart as me, let alone smarter. I have no patience with someone I can out-think. *shrugs*

Is anyone going to say that they are stupid though??

There is intelligence, which is often overrated IMO, and then there is wisdom. A nice balance of both is extremely appealing to me in a person. Add in an inner sense of serenity, an open spirit and a great sense of humor, BAMM, you've kicked it up a notch!

(All of my men have been highly intelligent in some ways but only one is wise. *smiles*)

To answer your question, I think I could be dominated by the right reasonably intelligent and wise Albertan farmer who flunked out in tenth grade, particularly if they also had some of the BAMM qualities! Sure, I'd let that hit this. *smirks*

Fury :rose:

Sexually, if he has the imagination to keep it exciting, yes. Dominating my whole life, making all the decisions, it would be harder. If he isn't educated, no problem, as long as he's interested. But if he's ignorant, doesn't care, doesn't WANT to know, oversimplifies things, he isn't a partner for me, D/s or not.

I couldn't be dominated by an idiot, and that includes immature idiots. Someone can be college educated and still be a complete fucking moron.

Doctors come to mind.

Some are not idiots. I should know, I'm growing a couple ;)

Doctor STUDENTS are fine. But after they pass all their examinations and get licensed they preform a very secretive labodomy.

*shakes head* It's very sad, the poor students don't even know what's in store for them.

 I mean, I might be able to get rid of my bf, and most of my friends, but what am I going to do with my sister?

Well, they don't remember. After al you need a brain to remember. Just pat their hands and nod occasionalyl when they talk. And remember, it's rude to look for the scars.

As to the question posed; I have had only one D/s relationship and she was certainly my mental equal. I could outrun her though. Does that count for anything?

Could you submit to someone who couldn’t catch you?

Just because they can't catch you at that very moment, be it via running or whatever, if you want them, you'll come back.
And they'll catch you then.

No, sorry. A guy has to be fucking brilliant.

I consider it a personal fetish of mine. Funny, intelligent and hopefully possessing some little quirk of perception or ability that makes him stand out.

I have been dominated by someone who did not have as many educational certificates as I have, but he wasn't an idiot.
I agree with everyone who said education doesn't make you intelligent.

I don't believe anyone is an idiot, ask someone about a subject they are interested in and they will have alot of knowledge in that area, regardless of their IQ, EQ or any other type of tests.

However, I don't want to be dominated by someone I can verbally outsmart, thats just tedious.

That said, I have made the exception in the past if the man in question looked like he may have an interesting cock

I'm like most of the others here. I need someone of equal intelligence, though not necessarily in all the same areas. Submission, for me, is as much a mental thing as a physical. I don't know how to do one without the other. So, intelligence, wisdom, maturity, etc. are all of primary importance for me.

for me there's more to a person than simply intelligence and there are so many different flavors of intelligence, it's hard for me to give a definitive yes or no answer.

for a relationship, yes. for an interlude or just a sexual relationship, no.

I get annoyed very quickly by people who think they know what "women" are like and don't bother meeting me.

That runs in the realm of stupidity for me. Not paying attention.

I agree there are many, many ways to be intelligent and able and capable. But closemindedness is a deal breaker.
