Could someone with an IQ score of 75 earn a PhD in physics or mathematics?

Most special education placements have IQ scores between 60-90.

This is extremely insufficient even for an undergraduate degree, let alone a doctorate.

Get a liberal arts degree like the rest of those in your bracket. There you will be exposed to classes with "research' that proves that IQ really cannot ever be accurately measured and everyone in the liberal arts classes are basically as smart if not smarter than the prospective rocket surgeons taking classes in engineering, physics and medicine.

I don't know mike, I've ran into more than a few recently that I'm convinced bought their degrees. If you have money, you can get a degree.

We all know how far you can get with a social science or liberal arts degree from a tier 3 state college.

With an IQ of 75, I would consider it a success if you could manage to pump your own gas.

Sure. You could run a human resources department, and admissions office, an office of opportunity of some sort in the Federal government.

Definitely middle management material. People with degrees and low IQs are highly prized in corporate America. You can safely promote them under you with no fear that they will eventually have your job.

If you have ever worked for a major corporation at least one of your bosses was just such a "qualified applicant."

IQ tests are bullshit. In fact biologist -and generally agreed upon smart person- Stephen Jay Gould wrote a whole book about in 1998 called The Mismeasure of Man.

Wow you got fucking owned hard on that one. Remember when I said you should stop posting because you're just going to keep looking like a bitch. Don't you wish you'd listened to my liberals arts degree having advice?

Announcing that you won a keyboard war is not how points are awarded. You have to win over the Romanian judge before you can hope to score 10.0s

So, the next time someone objects to executing a low IQ offender, you will tell them to "STFU, no such thing?"

Thanks, by the way, for proving my point about people with IQs well below the median being able to obtain a liberal arts degree. I bet after all the trauma of the whispered conferences between your parents and school administrators about your IQ scores it was s huge relief to find out that IQ is meaningless, am I right?

Fortunately you were born into a time where admissions standards were dropping and curriculum became less challenging.

How does one become a "generally agreed upon smart person" if "smart"
cannot (according to you, and evidently him) be objectively measured?

If there are no clear geniuses and well, people like you?

Four out of five smart guys must have agreed.

Not sure. But someone with an IQ of 145 could end up being the most clueless Prez the country has ever had.

Thanks for acknowledging the win. I deleted the rest of your sour grapes post. By the way this isn't the first time I've completely and utterly ruined your credibility here. Keep trying maybe one day your testicles will drop.

So, no answer on how someone can be generally agreed upon to be smart when smart according to you cannot be measured?

OK. Just checking to see if you knew.

Run along and play, now.
