A chain of disinformation-
The New York Post  (They have as much credibility as FOX TV News)
AP (Associated Press ) (I thought they did their own research!)
Reuters  (Reuters did not bother to check up on the facts ?)
CBS This Morning :( (Are there any journalists or reporters, on the television news desk ?)
K2 Intelligence, a corporate investigation firm  (What did they investigate, if they got it wrong ?)

The Mystery of Mitchell D. Silber- Why did CBS TV use him, to back up a discredited and disproved false claim ?

Two days had passed, since the NYPD spokesman had said that OWS was not involved, and yet, CBS chose to air this-

M.D. Silber's words-
"The assumption was that the vast majority of people there were peaceful protestors but there was a more radical fringe
element to the group and there was a concern that at some point they might turn to violence if they weren't accomplishing
their political aims."

"Silber was the Director of the Analytic and Cyber Units in the NYPD's controversial Intelligence Division,
where he was associated with the division's program of widespread surveillance of Muslim Americans."
-Village Voice

"Before joining K2, Mitch served as Director of the Analytic and Cyber Units in the New York Police Department’s
Intelligence Division, where he supervised the Department’s entire portfolio of ongoing terrorism-related investigations.
Before that, he reported to the NYPD’s Deputy and Assistant Commissioners of Intelligence, managing strategic threat
assessments and the Department’s relationships with international police and intelligence agencies.

Prior to joining the NYPD, Mitch spent nine years in corporate finance as a partner at The Carson Group and as a principal
at Evolution Capital, LLC.

Mitchell D. Silber and his buddy, Arvin Bhatt-

"When Westerners become terrorists, their choice to radicalize is not triggered by oppression and suffering. Rather, they seek
a cause to align with in order to escape lifestyle dissatisfaction. Silber and Bhatt claim that the Western social class system,
coupled with widespread failure to integrate past generations of immigrants, has created an environment where individuals will
take that unfortunate leap towards extremist Islamic ideology.

By now, you are probably asking- "What is all this about?" What are you going on, about ?"

Remember when I posted about the many examples of the FBI hiring self centered sociopath scum,
in order to smear and discredit the OWS movement ?

Seems like they just cannot leave OWS, alone. OWS has Operation Sandy, and has gained legit status.

The FBI keeps trying to spread the false idea that OWS has the potential to be violent. The FBI used sociopathic scum to try
to frame protesters. Brandon Darby will never be forgotten. He got some young people sent to prison, so he could live on FBI cash.
The FBI keeps trying to frame up protesters. The FBI has learned how to protect their pet sociopathic scum. But, the protesters
have learned to beware when something "does not smell right."

Brandon Darby helps feed the beast-

"The arrests come at a critical time due to recent left-of-center allegations against the FBI for having apparently
infiltrated the revolutionary Occupy movement. A recent document release from the FBI revealed multiple large
scale investigation into the movement had occurred and many in the media continued their decades-long attack
on the FBI for having looked into the movement."

"Supporters of the FBI’s efforts have pointed out that the Occupy movement, though many participants may be
well-intentioned, was ultimately started by individuals and groups with long histories of involvement with
hostile foreign nations, support for convicted cop-killers, and advocates for arson as a political tool."

Who would feel the most prejudice and hostility, against a young New York couple, who were rich, privileged, and highly educated?
What other hostilities would be fed, to hear that the couple became junkies, who did not consider their soon-to be- born child?
This couple fits neatly into the package that the (Tea Party ? John Birchers ?) the Right Wing extremists like to rail against.
Except the fact that it is not true! Yes. They are junkies. Who knows why they have weapons, and a few grams of homemade explosives ?

I am guessing that the FBI's efforts at discrediting OWS is failing. Maybe, this is why they put the OWS label on Aaron Greene.

You may have heard of the New York couple that were keeping unstable explosives in an apartment. I made a post about it.
I thought that it was an inconsiderate, selfish, thing to do. I considered the people who chose to do that, to be mentally unbalanced.
At the time, the news said nothing about Harvard University or OWS being connected. Why did the NY Post newspaper mention Harvard
or OWS, at all ? Ask a search engine about Morgan Gliedman and Aaron Greene, and what do you get ?

Did the news article ever say who gave the police received a tip, that their apartment housed many weapons and explosives ?

The FBI keeps trying to connect OWS with explosives and weapons. Morgan Gliedman and Aaron Greene allegedly
were caught with illegal weapons and a small amount of explosives.
The New York Post newspaper and
the NYPD has been caught out twice, slandering the OWS protesters.

"In a case like this, the best practices would suggest that The Post is definitely obligated to correct their mistake,
both by updating the online version of the story and noting the error, as well as printing a correction in the paper to inform people
who saw the mistake there."

Internal government records show Occupy was treated as a potential terrorism threat when organizing first began in August of 2011.

Heavily redacted FBI records were obtained by the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund through a Freedom of Information Act request.

The FBI has stonewalled for a year.

December 27, 2012

"There is repeated evidence of the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, American intelligence agencies [are]
really working as a private intelligence arm for corporations, for Wall Street, for the banks.

"That document is one of the ones, that would indicate the FBI was minimally using private entities or local police departments
as proxy forces for infiltration, for undercover operations, to monitor, surveil, collect information."

What is at the heart, of all this ? Money

Most of the pork in that bill was put in there by Senators trying to buy a 60 vote filibuster proof majority. It was bribe money to secure votes for the bill. This is why the House didn't want to take up the bill until the pork was amended out.

The NASCAR thing was inserted by Representative Vern Buchanan R-Florida and the coal mining pork was inserted by... Actually I'll let you look it up.

Coal industry pork... No Republican is complaining about it because they like what it's for. Funny how that works.

Well, let's see.

When Unilever pays a dividend to me, the Dutch government automatically withholds 15% of the dividend, thus I only receive 85% of it.

When I file my U.S. Federal income tax return, I have to list the whole Unilever dividend as dividend income (i.e., 100%) and I have to pay tax on the entire dividend even though I've already paid tax to the Netherlands.

The U.S. Tax Code recognizes that I've already paid tax on that dividend by allowing me to either (a) claim a credit (subject to limitations) for the tax I've paid to the Netherlands against my U.S. tax liability or (b) claim an itemized deduction (subject to phase-out) for the amount of the tax I've already paid to the Netherlands against my adjusted gross income.

In reality, because of the limitations and the phase-out of deductions, I never fully recover the entire amount of that dividend.

I'm reading the law now.... Some of this stuff is pretty funny. Some of it is tricky to understand because it can be new spending, renewal of old spending, renewal of old spending with an increase or decrease in levels, authorizing a fund of money in case something (ie disaster occurs), or pre-authorizing money in case something occurs without pre-funding.

- Outreach for socially disadvantaged farmers, $20 million dollars.

- Educating folks on biofuels, $1 million

- Market loss assistance for asparagus producers

- "Pigford claims" (?)

- Some drought relief stuff that should have been passed 6 months ago.

- Ban on passing a cost of living adjustment for members of congress for 2013

- $30 million for ranch and farm development aid (extension, not sure if it's an increase or what)

- $125 million for organic and specialty crop research (also extension)

- A $100 million CUT in the Food Stamp program of FY 2013. Then it goes back to normal levels in 2014. I sense a game is being played here though.

- Medicare was overpaying for diabetic supplies and non-emergency ambulance transportation and now it's fixed to private market average rates.

You need to stop playing font games.

What phase-out of deductions?

New York Sen. Chuck Schumer warned insurance companies Sunday against forcing hurricane deductibles
on homeowners suffering in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
November 11, 2012

The National Weather Service has said Sandy didn't meet the technical criteria to be labeled a hurricane when it made landfall.

Instead, it classified Sandy a "post-tropical cyclone."

Schumer warned insurance companies against challenging this determination and foisting hurricane deductibles on homeowners.

"The state and federal government both classified this storm as a post-tropical cyclone, not a hurricane, and insurance companies
shouldn't try to alter reality to save money on the backs of homeowners," Schumer said.

Officials in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Washington, DC
have all ruled that insurers may not impose hurricane deductibles in their jurisdictions.

http://money.cnn.com/2012/11/11/news/economy/hurricane-deductibles/index.html

Liberty Mutual has already confirmed that it won’t apply hurricane deductibles on customers impacted by Sandy.
Allstate has said customers in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut,
Rhode Island and Washington will be completely exempt from the deductible.
