Of course, it is the right of private businesses to do as they please with their money and investments, even if said choices are based on misinformation (as is the case with Georgia’s voting law). But based on their own standards, it would be hypocritical for companies to boycott Georgia and not next year’s Olympics in China and the World Cup in Qatar.
For companies such as Coca-Cola to boycott Georgia but not also China and Qatar is at once absurd and immoral. It says much about these organizations that they treasure (quite literally!) foreign immorality while engaging in highly subjective wokeness at home.
