Coronavirus affecting your sex life?

I was just wondering how the Covid-19 coronavirus might be affecting the sex lives of those with ACTIVE gay/bi sex lives.....if at all. Have you changed your behavior at all or is it just business as usual?

Though I live in a rural area, and there are no confirmed cases in my county, I live close enough to several California counties and cities with confirmed cases to be concerned. I know most cases end up being mild, and though I'm fit, I'm still 62 which is in an age group with an elevated mortality rate from this thing.

As for me, number one and right thinking or wrong thinking, I've suspended visits to any men's gay spas, batthouses or health clubs for the foreseeable future. I've visited some in the LA metro area a few times, and Entourage in Las Vegas on numerous occasions, and while I take precautions against exposure to sexual bugs (PrEP and usually condoms), I just can't see putting myself in that kind of group setting right now.

Also, and though I will be back, at the end of January I temporarily deactivated (suspended) my account on a prominent gay dating and cruising site. I'm just going to sit this out for a couple of months and can't see paying the monthly membership fee till I'm back.

So....just wondering if other active guys are doing anything different?

I'm in a lower mortality group and have no underlying health issues that I know of. I'm not too concerned and will hopefully shake it off with no lasting issues.

I kept watching and waiting for this. This is largely what I've found out about the state of affairs on the West Coast since that's where I live. It seems that some jurisdictions have finally taken the discretionary decision away from the spa and bathhouse operators, as well as the clients, by explicitly listing them as "types" of establishments that must close. In other areas, the order is more implicit and open to interpretation but many establishments have still voluntarily closed for a period of time. A few suspended operations before any type of emergencies were declared by the government.

Meanwhile, hearings on allowing gay bathhouses to reopen in the city San Francisco has been postponed in light of the coronavirus outbreak. They had been closed in 1984 at the height of the AIDS epidemic. Supporters just didn't think it was a good time to argue for extremely intimate gatherings at a time when government was banning any gatherings.

As of March 10, the Bay Area's two remaining gay bathhouses, the Watergarden in San Jose and Steamworks in Berkeley, remained open and had not shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. With both San Jose and Berkeley now under "shelter in place" orders, that's probably a moot as well.

Most of the club's in the Greater Los Angeles area still seem to be open but with some cancelling large events like "CumUnion" and other special large group promotions. Many of them have added pop-up notes onto their websites talking about their cleaning protocols with some closing certain rooms or areas of their clubs.
