Best known for her role as Emma Leroy on the hit Canadian comedy show Corner Gas. Corner Gas currently airs in 26 countries and is listed as #9 Greatest Canadian TV Show.

Maybe not in Cohen's sphere but still a very well known Canadian icon. Can't get much more Canadian than Corner Gas set in the fictional town of Dog River, Saskatchewan.

So where are Degrassi and Total Drama Island ranked?
I'm pretty sure I know where Hockey Tonight is ranked.

I don't live along the 49th parallel, so I don't get much exposure to Canadian broadcasting.

Never watched a Degrassi show. Been on the air in one incarnation or another since before 1982. Must have something going for it.

Had to look up TDI. Never heard of it. Wiki says its well received.

DaVinci's Inquest and Cold Squad are/were good.

I'm not much of a TV watcher so not really the person to ask.
