I know I should be posting this in the "How To" section and I am going to, but I also know more people read this board than do the other one.

Now I have some songs on my hard drive that are in RealJukebox format and I need to convert them to MP3. What is the best software to use for this? I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks for the information Dillinger! I already have dBpowerAMP but it won't read RealJukebox format:( but I'll keep searching. Thanks again.

Real Audio files are tricky, Todd. They don't download the whole file to your computer, but log on to the source site when you try to play them.
So you have to convert them on the fly- using the output of your soundcard as the source.
I have a program call RA2Wav that converts Real Audio to a WAV file, after that it is easy to encode it as MP3 with a normal ripper like Winamp.
If I could remember where I got it from I'd tell you.
It's still zipped on my HDD though so mail if you want a copy.
All the Best!

Todd what is the extension on the files? is it .ram? If so, then there's no program that I know of. I use the Soundforge, and it will do many types of formats, but not .ram

Thanks for offer Darowyn I may take you up on that.

Lobito, the extension on them is .rmx, I figured out although a little late that it was preset to save in that format and I have since changed it to save in MP3 format.

My email address is toddhwrd@yahoo.com, if you find something helpful......
