I wish someone would write a different version to Conversations by Tricoll. What I would like to read is a new version starting from where Kyle puts his hand on Jim's shoulder. Jim would say just a second and pick up his phone put it on speaker and call his lawyer's office and tell him to start divorce proceedings and he would be by later to sign then he stands up and kicks Kyle in the crotch and when he doubles up kicks him in the face. With him on the floor he stomps his genitals and his hands and knees making sure he doesn't cause anything fatal. Then tells his wife to not come home and for her to tell Kyle if he goes to jail the next encounter will be worse. I don't have any ideas about their future but I want Kyle to be punished.

There is a writer on LIT who writes continuations of stories that other people haven't finished. As far as I know, he hasn't been sued (not that I would know of it if he were). But still, it is considered bad form to appropriate other people's creations, like their characters and situations, without permission. Better to dream up your own characters, put them into similar situations, and then mete out whatever fate you think they deserve.
