I suspect that this thread was started as the result of a lack of response to your 'Lies we live by' thread that has sunk to page two (currently), and with no replies posted.

You want the 'meaning of life' and encase your question in convoluted paragraphs that make for difficult reading. I don't have the patience to go past the first couple of paras.

Try simplifying your writing instead of writing a scholarly work that few can or will follow.

This is written in good fellowship and without the intention to offend. You did ask.

I have to admit, I opened it, glanced at it, and decided it was too long and too much work to read late at night, so I closed it and moved on. Sorry.

If there was a question in there that you were hoping to get answers to, I never got that far in reading the thread.

Also, the thread title was very negative. I think there is a different truth from every point of view. To categorize differing truths as lies is not kind, and very off-putting.

Length isn't an issue as long as it's interesting. I admit that I passed it by, the title wasn't very interesting. I read lengthy things and respond if I have anything to say. Lately I've been keeping whatever I say pertinent (I'm so proud of me for that!). Heck, I even read Felix's posts in their entirety on the odd occassion he posts them.

I'm sorry to have gotten so touchy. I KNOW that it was rambling. I've been having an early onset of the holiday blues, and everyone I know is having kids all of a sudden, and it's weirding me out. So, I guess that I took the comment more personally than was warranted--I wasn't trying to be "clever." I really AM struggling right now, I guess that I just don't know how to express it.
