Hello everyone,

Spunkylady here! I wrote to Literotica management a day or two ago to ask about this, but no reply so far. I do not intend to kick up a fuss about the section, but I simply do not like incest, and I simply never go there, or stop reading if it comes up in other sections. I repeat, I do not wish to moralise, but Pops popping daughters and mums sucking sons make my skin crawl. Cousins and perhaps aunts/uncles are slightly more palatable, but still not my thing. Each to his own. My thing is spunk, and others may feel that is creepy too (but I seriously doubt many do!!), but I know what I like and what I do not.

What I fail to understand is the 18-year rule. Most of the kids lose their cherries behind the bike shed these days with Billy or Millie, plus with some notable exceptions the legal age for sex is more like 16 the length and breadth of the planet, so why 18?

And, in that connection, i.e. with incest, does this mean that a story is acceptable if it starts off " ... Pete lay in bed frantically jerking himself off beneath the sheets, hardly able to contain himself at the thought of a world of possibilities opening up for him the following day when Angela, his little baby girl Angela, turned 18, and he could finally make plans, feasible, doable plans, to have his wicked way with her ..." etc. So Pete can suddenly stick it to his daughter tomorrow in the story, but today, when Angie is a mere child at 17 years and 364 days old, it is a reprehensible no-no?

Bugger me if I understand it. Is it just me?

In Australia, and I'm no expert other than living here, 18 is the age of consent in regard to an older person having sex with a younger person. Yes, a 15yo can have sex to their heart's content with another 'kid' their age (usually within 2 years or else it can get complicated...) but a 40 year old can't bonk a 15 year old.

About 50% of people have had sex by the age of 15 in most "Western" countries. I think that rises to about 99% by 25yo? Something like that... So, there's still plenty of virgins after 18.

Literotica is still a business. As such, they must avoid running afoul of the laws of all 50 states, plus the feds and foreign countries as well.
18+ seems self explanatory.
And since when does Lit have anything to do with reality?

Okay, is it just me, or is there actually an unusual uptake in people complaining about the 18+ rule? I feel like this is the third thread on the topic I see this week alone!

And what is OP even trying to achieve here? First, they go off on a rant about incest making their skin crawl, then they reassure people how they don't want to moralize... to then complain about not being able to write about underage sex!?

Hello OverconfidentSarcasm,

My point about under-age sex is that, where I come from and where I live, it's legal much younger, regardless of the age of one of the participants. I take your point, and of course the site has to comply in the US, which I had forgotten about, yes. But on that point, I seem to remember that sodomy was also illegal in some US states a few years ago regardless of age, or are arseholes free game again? Am I wrong? Lord knows how they enforced it anyway - with the Arsefuck Division?
Further, I realise that incest does not necessarily make anyone else's skin crawl, but it does mine. It is not moralising to point out that I would sooner take the full force of a grinning toothless peasant breaking wind right in my face, hundreds of miles from anywhere on the desolate, freezing steppe of Central Asia, after his fitful, copious and hearty breakfast of donkey testicle and mole armpit stew, washed down with a powerful potato poteen strained and distilled after the traditional local fashion, through a Mongolian horseman's sweaty, sticky, smelly and sickeningly shitty riding socks, than read about incest or practise it. Others can do whatever they like! I trust you dig.

The opening you suggested would be rejected. Even sexual thoughts about someone underage ( or by someone underage ) crosses the line. Never mind masturbation at the same time. Doesn't matter what category it falls in.

See the sticky thread a the top of the forum section.
