I forgot all about tax day being here soon. Had mine done several months ago. Not to mention the various Easter breaks that are happening across the country this month. Might explain a lot of the non-participation in this contest. Well, as long as we have two or more, its something.

I'm sitting this one out. My taxes have been done for months. I've just been really busy and frankly I didn't have an inspiration on the fine wine theme. I think trying to plan a party for 50 people took up most of my free play time I hope you get plenty of last minute entries!

People have things going on all over. Every contest can't be a raging orgy of inspiration and artistic fortitude hosing down the decks. I thought this was a very simple subject with a great deal of potential pieces to come out of it. Perhaps it will come again.

I sent my sketch early this morning to Patty, hope I can still make it into the contest.

Or maybe not if Im only competing against DG, I wouldnt want to put him to shame! LMAO!! As if!

I'm sorry I didn't take part this time. I had an idea and all but this last week was so busy between school and work. Plus I was getting ready for the Relay for Life which was the past weekend.

You did what you should have done. Artists should be able to hold to deadlines. I'm surprised you waited as long as you did. You must be some sort of saint.

I did send the email to her for the sketch, but either I didnt attach the sketch or who knows what happened, it was done at 7am yesterday!!

Like I said its my fault, but I intended to stick to the deadline!
