Hello all. I'm new around these parts and have just posted my first story. The story centers around some famous people (if you watch pro wrestling that is), but content wise it would be a much better fit in the BDSM or Fetish categories. I opted for Celebrities, but I'm not certain that was the way to go as the target audience is much more specific in it's tastes and might not be perusing the Celebrity category. I did however, ensure that my story description contained some hint as to the content.
Any feedback on whether or not I made the right decision would be appreciated.
Of course, feedback on the story is welcome as well.

As a general rule: post your stories in the category that the main thrust of the story fits in. If the story is primarily BDSM, then that's where it should go whether the persons engaging in the action are celebrities or not.

There is one point to consider in this particular case, and that is the disclaimer and legal citation that automatically attachs to celbrity stories stating that though the names are real, the story is fantasy.

Rule of Thumb

You have to decide. Is it a BDSM story involving celebrities, or is it a story about celebrities that involves some BDSM?

The BDSM category covers a huge range of content from what I have seen.

content vs category

Got to agree with Harold's comment regarding the disclaimer. I have considered the same question you ask, but the disclaimer is the thing when it comes to using the name of a real person without their knowledge or approval.(IMHO).
