How do I get through the filters Lit has

Don't do any of these things:

one of the reasons for writing this story this way was an experiment on how good bots can be in in assisting writers
I have been using AI as an editor

And don't worry about these things, just publish anyway:
how do I up the quality to a level that qualifies
I am a poor guy who cannot afford hiring people to help
"Quality" is not a bar against publishing on Literotica.

This isn't me affirming your perception that your un-AI-assisted work is not of-quality. That's your own perception. What I'm saying is, it doesn't matter: Lit will publish it. As long as it adheres to the rules. There aren't any rules about quality. There are rules about AI.

Just publish what you can do on your own. Based on your writing as evidenced by the quality of the language in your post, you can write just fine - better than an awful lot of the writers who get published here.

The only obstacles are the one you're imagining, by believing you aren't good enough, and the one you're creating, by using AI against the rules. Lit is not the obstacle.

Just dare to publish!

If you skip all the AI, adhere to the other rules, and just dare to write and publish, Lit will publish you. Lit has never once rejected a story because it wasn't "good enough quality."

And again - this isn't me reinforcing your idea that your quality is bad. This is me encouraging you to not worry about it.

posting it here and it getting the audience I have seen only this site generate means just that much to me
So just do it! Without the AI crutches.

I am against AI making content but why not allow it to act as an Editor + Research assistant
Research assistant is probably fine. You learn information from it, and you use that information to write your story in your own words.

Editor is not fine. You can't allow AI to put words in your story or change words that are already in your story to its own words.

Copy / paste from the AI editor is what got you rejected, so copy / paste from your document will deliver the same result; rejection

AI can be used for research or you can even ask it to review your story. But NEVER take the AIs recommended change examples!

Read the AI review. Then close the AI browser tab and think about what the AI suggested. Then start typing your own changes and writing with the new ideas in your own words (if they make sense.)

Use the AI like a college professor's redline review, and fix the problems it pointed out. But a college prof wouldn't hand you the examples, then give you a passing grade for handing in that work which isn't yours!

Completely agree. Earlier this evening, I wanted to know the times of sunset at a particular location on four different days. The answer came back in seconds. Far faster than I had used conventional websites.

As I understand it (happy to be corrected) it's not allowed to accept the language that an AI suggests to you but it's fine to let the AI say things like

  • You used this word twice in the same sentence
  • The beginning is really slow. We don't even meet the love interest for two thousand words.
  • This character is a manic pixie dream girl straight out of central casting.
  • That's not how how cars work.
  • Where did his underwear go?

and then act on that feedback. That kind of editing is fine.

More seriously, I find the idea of using an LLM as a research assistant jarring. But I suppose the genie's out of the bottle in that regard.

As to using one to write or edit... well, I nailed my colours to the mast on that topic a long time ago.
