In another thread the discussion is about the "Oregon Standoff." So related to that.
For some time now the federal government has been hell bent for leather to run the small rancher out of business. Why?
Maybe because cows produce copious quantities of methane, methane is a green house gas, and God knows we're all going to roast soon.
Soooooo, drive the ranchers out of business. Les beef, the higher the prices, the higher the prices, the less beef consumed as well as far fewer farts to deal with. You have to admit, it does fit the governments, at least the current administrations agenda.
On a side note I'd like to see the minimum wage raised to $25/hr. Of course it would put every fast food eatery, and most other eateries, out of business overnight. The pieces of shit that work in them, and think serving fries is a career, would be out of work. But the price of food at the grocery store would drop dramatically so their food stamps would go a lot further.
