Even if you agree with whatever her actual political positions are, you should be aware by now that this person has no ability to govern, no intentions to govern, and is only interested in money-grabbing, right?

Look, I'm on the other side of the aisle from you, so I understand I'm supposed to be happy that people I oppose are wasting their political donations.

But, it's kinda not how I picture America functioning, in the ideal sense.

Why not donate to PACs that might actually do something to stop Er-ber-mah? And ebul liberals like myself?

Because donating to Sarah Palin is sort of like masturbating your dog- I'm sure the recipient of your attention enjoys it, but it's kind of a waste of your time and has messy results.

She has only raised $2.5 million in two years!! That's pathetic! Her "PAC" is barely self-sustaining. Of course she has only given 5% to candidates. The rest went to postage for campaign mailings and keeping the lights on.

I've always liked her personally, but as far as significant political influence, she makes noise like 9/11 "Truthers" make noise. Some people enjoy supporting noisemakers. Go figure.

I was not aware that postage for mailings was a million dollars and her electric bill was another million dollars. I recommend not illuminating her PAC headquarters by shining lasers off of the surface of the moon and enjoying the warm glow that reflects back.

Keeping the lights on, indeed.

My point is that she's stockpiling money and then not spending it doing the thing she promised her donors she would.

Some would call that, you know, fraud. Or grand larceny. Or something.

Yes, it would appear to be that so someone who is uncomfortable with things like reading, or context clues.

The entire point of the thread is to highlight that one of these (Sarah Palin) is not like the others (an outlier in politics, a sham, a huckster, and that's taking into account the fact that politics on both sides is full of such. She's a huckster among hucksters).

And that cons and Republicans should stop donating to her, and donate more effectively.

Yes, it's all in the thread for people with brains and/or reading glasses to absorb.

The absolutely alarming thing, though, is the lack of judgement of those on the right who brought into her bullshit and actually decided it would be a good idea to have her as vice president!
