Of course they'll say this is because of socialism. Under exactly what socialist state do the rich get so much money again? This is all Capitalism's fault.

Explain how a socialist society is different. Many at the bottom getting subsistance and a few at the top, with everything. At least in capitalism you can leave poverty with hard work and an idea.

You have a better chance of getting out of poverty in more "socialist" countries like Canada and Europe.
