Look at the lies about guns to Mexico as an attempt at another moronic gun law. Of 29,000 guns taken down there they sent us 6,000 serial numbers for tracing of which 5,000 were traced. The rest came from the world gun market. Now where did the lie about 90% coming from the U. S. come from? It fits their purpose, that's where!

The far left is always interested in gun control because it's their policies that will cause armed insurrection.

in fact, contrary to what your IP suggests, i think physicians have little to fear. they have a LOT of clout. where there is, or may be a change, is the widening application of 'conscience' through a whole array of secondary providers.

can you imagine going to a pharmacy with a prescription for oxytocin, after a life saving abortion and having the ASSISTANT turn you away because he did not approve.

can you imagine calling an ambulance when your daughter has a blood clot and can't breathe and having the driver say, 'if she's on the pill, *which i regard as equivalent to abortion*, i'm not driving.'?

why i support some rights of conscience in drs and nurses, the whole thing threatens to spiral out of control with right wing crazies such as yourself trying to 'protect' every imaginable nut case so as to impose your moral views on women, i.e. get them off the pill, force them to bear rapists' kids, etc.

incidentally, you would not genuinely defend freedom, in this regard, namely my freedom to go to the pharmacist and not have to convince him/her that i'm moral.

nor do you defend the freedom of a dr, working at a catholic or evangelical hospital, to prescribe pills [OC's] or other medically necessary items, contrary to the religiously dictated policy of the hosp.

you don't even defend the free market here, namely a private hospital's right NOT to hire a nurse who believes the 'pill' leads to sin and won't treat complications in 'pill' users.

The administration still wants to find a way to force the Catholic hospitals to do their dirty work too. Of course the Bishops said the hospitals would be closed if they tried to force them to do abortions and the administration backed off for a bit. Seems the thought of 20% of the countries hospitals closing scared them. Or caused some rational thinking for a moment.
