Congress goes "full Vetteman", retreats from DHS battlefield

The Republican-controlled Senate and the Republican-controlled House of Representatives went "full Vetteman" today and retreated quickly from the battle over the DHS budget.

They caved and gave President Obama everything he'd asked for in the DHS budget, which funds the agency for the remainder of the fiscal year.

Is THIS the "change" you voted for, Vetty?

Nope, this is the Obama change you voted for. Impeachment is off the table, and McConnell went back to regular order so a few Democrats can control the Senate. So the President's lawlessness stands. What can I say, except what I've always said, establishment Republicans are not conservatives.

You're God damned right impeachment is "off the table". It was never "on the table" to begin with, outside of Breitbart forums perhaps.

Yes let us continue to celebrate a government that on both sides couldn't give a rats ass about the people and only care about sticking it to each other.

Every fucking one of those assholes sitting in all those seats including that sorry excuse for a president should be impeached.

Go back to putting farmers and laymen in office. Maybe then some decisions would benefit someone besides the wealthy and the welfare mooches.

You're right I don't work, I pay other people to do the hard shit while I hold paperwork and watch my money stack up. If you "work" you have a job....that means you're failing at the capitalism game.

I made enough by the time I was ohhh...28ish to pretty much fuck off the rest of my life making even more just doing shit I enjoy. Like getting other people to go make me more money than they make themselves, because that's the only way you win this game.

And just for the record I pay enough in tax to cover my own military retirement....kinda just an annual 50k exchange when it's all said and done.

Which I'm cool with, hey...got wrecked in service, but I'm not totally bed ridden, so I just pay ultra low taxes. Seems a pretty equitable deal to me..
