Congratulations to my beloved Boston Bruins for bringing home the Stanley Cup. They'd make Bobby Orr proud.

With the Red Sox in first play ahead of the Yankees, for such an educated, cultured, and enlightened city, Boston has become quite the sports town with the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and now the Boston Bruins.

I dare write that Boston offers everyone everything they'd want.

For those of you visiting Boston, I still offer my personal guided, walking city tours.

Make your appointments early, please, as the summer is my busy season (lol).

As always willing blonde, busty, beautiful women are free.

Yes, congratulations to the &#ZZ@##*!@! Boston Bruins.

Now I'm going to have to wait another 17 years for a Vancouver riot.

It wasn't that long ago, when the Boston Red Sox couldn't win a World Series and the New York Yankee fans bragged about how many world championships they won.

All I can write to you is..."Better luck next year."

Nonetheless, hockey at its best, they played a good game.

Time was when ice hockey was a winter sport. My eyes are on the college baseball championships in Omaha. UVa (#1 seed) plays its first game there on Sunday.

Memories...Hull to Hay to Hull...score!

Strike! Strike?

Then I found I could live without hockey or was it Championship Boxing, so confusing. Went to a boxing match...I was very surprised a hockey game didn't break out.

Watching a hockey game now is like watching grass grow...wait...there's a joke in there somewhere...hmmm...I got nothing.

There's a certain satisfaction in seeing one of the original six win the cup, even if I am in Canada. Congratulations, Boston.

And BFW, Beantown does have a lot to offer, but I was sorely disappointed at how some historic sites were being treated when last I was there. It was early March, and the colonial/Revolutionary cemeteries were filthy, and workers clearing ice from the walkways had shattered a number of 18th century grave markers.

Gees, Tio!:D There was record snow this year. Give em a break. Do I need to post the picture of my shed, again? It's June and I'm still cleaning up what God broke.

Even though I'm a die hard Red Wings fan, I congratulate the Boston Bruins.

Budget cuts are everywhere and Massachusetts and Boston are no different. Yet, you must understand with the amount of people, between residents, tourists, and the never ending procession of college students, it's impossibly difficult to keep up with all the litter.

Then, you have those idiots who vandalize and deface tombstones. There was a time when the graves were open, but they closed the tunnels beneath the graves years ago. Many of the tunnels began and ended in residents cellars with the main tunnel going up and behing the altar of the Old North Church.

The robbers hid their guns and loot in one of the tunnels after the infamous Brinks robbery. I used to play in the tunnels when I was a kid and routinely found Revolutionary War sourvenirs. It was a great place to live, especially back then and well protected by the Mafia.

Now the North End of Boston is filled with multi-million dollar condos.

Sadly, it's all about money and all the sport seasons last longer and now morph into one another. From baseball to basketball to football to hockey, sports is a big business. From cable TV to bars filled with fans to big screen TV sales, to souvenirs to ticket scalpers, we're at their mercy.

Still, it's always fun watching the home team win.

The Sharks couldn't take Vancouver in 7 games, but the Bruins were just beating their asses the last few games. I can not believe the scores they were posting, wizards on skates.

Good on ya' Boston.

As for our Canucks,

After losing the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins Wednesday, fans of the Vancouver Canucks took to the streets to riot.
Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson called the riots “absolutely disgraceful and shameful.”
