Although, honesty compels me to say that I believe my story, "Angel 6", should have been among the winners. It was posted late, on December 2, and is in a not very popular category. Nevertheless, votes trickled in until there were 20, with a score of 4.90. This would mean 18 votes of "5" and two of "4". The next two votes totaled seven, and I took this to be a "5 and a "3-bomb". I complained about the vote, but to no avail. The score was knocked down to 4.77, and I complained about what I thought of as a vindictive vote, or one designed to damage my score, which it did. The votes continued to trickle in, and the score crept upward until the story had 29 votes and a score of 4.82. The final sweep eliminated three votes of "5" and one of "4", but not the two-bomb. If that one had been swept, instead of the "4" or "5", I would have had a score of over 4.90, which would have won first place.

I realize there is nothing to be done about it except gripe, and that's what I'm doing.

It was a great story, Doc... loved it. Magica, you definitely deserved to win.

Boxy... BTDT... had the whine with my cheese and all that... I'm glad I didn't enter my Loving Wives tale... there's no WAY it would have won! lol Maybe next year I'll take a shot at last place.
