Our own Vampiredust, the guy who quietly shows up and writes at least a poem a day, has won the Most Influential Poet award in Lit's ninth annual "best of" awards contest. This has been a great year for him poetically as he has received some pretty impressive publication acceptances as well as this award.

Congratulations Chris! I'm very, very happy to see you win this award. You're a working poet on this forum and you set a great example for everyone here in your own quiet way. It's very well deserved.

Congrats, too, to all the contestants (including me!) and thanks to all who vote and, more importantly, those who participate in and promote poetry on this site!
