While sad that hyulhyulhyul’s excellent story didn’t win, no one can question Mr. Alex De Kok’s placing. Both his entries were outstanding!

Now how about promoting them a bit! Put all three stories on the ‘story index page’ and the ‘new stories page’ for the next week in big flashing letters. Interviews with the authors. Pictures!

And how about more prizes next contest. Everyone wants to win something. If the budget can’t stretch any farther we authors won’t complain. Below are some ideas for prizes you could award.

- Most Votes
- Most Views
- Most Comments
- Best Dialogue
- Best Starring Character …..etc.

Thanks, everyone! Still slightly bemused. No, make that, greatly bemused. I've been away for a couple of days - a first birthday party! ('Twas fun!) When I glanced at my score on Monday, before we left, I was convinced I was headed for my usual respectable mid-table obscurity. It just goes to show something or other. . .
