Two of the nicest gentlemen to have ever played the game will be honored tomorrow with induction into Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame. Congrats to Barry and the family of the late Ron Santo. I'm sure he will be watching from above!

Congrats to both.

The Reds' World Series victory over the A's will always be one of my favorite sports memories of all time. Barry was a great leader for that team, on and off the field. Not only was he a great player, but he also stood up to Marge Schott and her hateful, racist remarks. I didn't realize until just recently that he received death threats for that. Unbelievable.

Anyway... a great day for baseball.
