I just saw this on the Literotica home page...

02/20 - Congratulations to NightTempest, DG Hear, and RedHairedandFriendly! Their stories were chosen by readers as the best of the 2012 Valentine's Day story contest!

Big smiles here on your job well done :)

When I saw that, I was very excited for you!!!!!!!! Congrats Redhairedandfriendly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! Well deserved win! You rock, you sexy lady!

How ya gonna spend your winnings RHF??:):D

I received it the day after V-day. So I purchased 2 boxes of valentine chocolate at 50% off! The spouse and I shared one, the 3 kids shared the other (each person ended up with 15 pieces each). The spouse and my shared box were a higher quality than the kids. lol

I also picked up a couple jeans from Goodwill - figured I didn't need brand spanking new ones - they're jeans for goodness sakes and as a stay-at-home mom, I don't need expensive jeans to do housework.

Hmm... Oh, I bought 15 loaves of reduced priced bread from the bakery, and put it in the freezer. For those that buy bread and put it in the fridge to store it, don't. It dries the bread out, put it in the freezer.

I probably used the rest for gas in a vehicle or something for the house. The splurge was the candies and the jeans. May sound silly, but I was happy with the little things, and felt good spending a tiny bit on me, but also knew the rest would come in handy for other family needs.

Doesn't sound silly at all. It sounds thoughtful and practical. The world needs more thoughtful and practical people :)

Thank you.:rose: I would have gotten each kid their own candy box, but all that were left were very very very feminine and looked exactly like this: http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/04/17/61/30/0004176130174_180X180.jpg <<< this does not say "manly" at all and my son would have eaten the chocolate and tossed the thick pillow box. lol
