Cheers to you guys for achieving the goal. When it comes down to it, Nanowrimo is like the coffee in the morning to get you up and going. We all know we don't need the caffiene to keep us awake, but it certainly doesn't hurt. You have not done this for Nanowrimo, you have done this for yourselves. Give yourselves a nice pat on the back.

To the rest of you, it's not how you finish the race that is important. It is that you finish the race, even if it's passed Nov. 30!!! Now I got 25,000 words to go, enuff out of me, back to writing!

I am really proud of everyone here doing the NaNo.... I'm here with ya (started the race a little early and will be ending it a little late...but ya know) and I know how hard it is...muchless to try to write on a daily deadline of that magnitude.

I've just been looking at the Winners on NaNoWriMo.

I did just over the 50k. Some have already done more than 100k and one has done more than 500k. Those are the validated figures!

50k was hard. 500k in less than a month is almost inconceivable.

The AH has done well and is doing well.

Back to the Winter Holiday competition.

No they're not. I just went over there and changed a digit where you type in your own word count, and the one in the winner's list followed. The 500K is probably just a keyboard slip.

I hope so. Once you are validated you can keep going, and going, and ... but not me. My story is completed, done, finished and just needs some minor editing next month.
