I'm a bit confused this morning. As I attempted to log into the BB here, I had no trouble. Then I attempted to log into the story section, and it won't let me it seems. It keeps asking me for my username and password. Also getting some sort of error when I attempted to vote for someone else's story on here I liked. It said: Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: bbsession in /home/literot/literoticanet/literotica/vote.php on line 57

Any idears what's goin' on? ;p I'm new here and easilly confuzzled. ;p

If you can post a link to the page you are getting the errors on that will help a ton!

well, I went straight to the stories boards. When I tried logging in, it took quite awhile, but it seems to be working now. When I attempt to vote on a story though, I'm still getting the error that I listed below:

Fatal error:
Cannot instantiate non-existent class: bbsession in /home/literot/literoticanet/literotica/vote.php on line 57

The specific site I was on was: http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=25667&page=4 but when I attempt to vote I get that error. It's happened on another story as well. Just sorta curious, and hopefully finding any glitched for u. Take care

I have one more question to annoy you with, though.

When you say you had trouble logging into the "story boards" - do you mean the new member area which is logged into here:
http://members.literotica.com/

It can also be accessed from the links at the top of the main index page here:
http://www.literotica.com/stories/

If you can let me know which specific page you were trying to log in from and verify that the member area is where you were trying to go, that would be great. I want to track down any part of the site that is causing problems and get it fixed as soon as possible.

I noticed, too, that the site is a little slow right now, I think that it's because all of the cache files have to be rebuilt for the new system to work properly. The speed issue should work itself out in several hours, I think.

Follow-up

No annoyance at all. I just like to see things work well. ;o) Now, the login I was having trouble with was found at the top of:

http://literotica.com/stories/index.php

which took me to the page:

http://Members.literotica.com/?forward=/members/main.php

After about 20 min or so, it let me in, but prior to that it had been looping. Every time I entered my info, it took me back to that page as though I hadn't entered anything yet.

I suspect your cache guess is right for any slowness, but it hasn't been too bad. My work cpu is a p.o.s. (read: 166 pentium) and is handling it pretty decent. I'll keep an eye on the voting problem as well then, so I can give the stories I like their due!

Hey bud, got that looping thing to happen again. I now can't seem to access my file. I go through either of the 2 routes you show me, then after putting in my info, it takes me to:

http://Members.literotica.com/?forward=/members/main.php

Which is basically the log-in screen again. My wife and I from both of our cpus can access her info tho with no problem. Figured I'd keep you posted. ;o)
