A nice story, short & sweet.

I was impressed by your vivid and poetic descriptions, especially the part where you described Molly asleep beneath the sheets. Nice descriptions of Molly's feet, as well.

Very nice touch at the end, very creative, having the main character recite The Sign of the Cross as he paints a cross on the sole of Molly's foot.

"her big doughy brown eyes..."

You probably mean "doe-like eyes." Doughy is like bread dough.
