"There are fundamental things he couldn't achieve but let's face it: the Democrats are determined to just shoot him down at every angle. In the face of all the opposition he has achieved a tremendous amount," the man said.

Yes, that is an actual quote from a con artist supporter who oddly enough, didn't want to give his name at rally. Apparently in his fantasy world Republicans walked hand in hand with Obama for eight years.

It's funny, the amnesia of Republicans. First they refuse to admit the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history occurred on their watch, that the worst recession in 80 years happened on their watch, and the the financial system was on the verge of collapsing on their watch. Yet somehow, after Obama dragged this country out of the depths of Republican-created misery, after he killed the most wanted man on the planet, after all the good he did, nope, worst president in history. Which had nothing to do with Republicans being the party of 'No'.

Now suddenly, it's the Democrats fault the con artist can't get things done, even when both Houses of Congress are controlled by Republicans.

If there was any doubt left why the con artist did well with those who weren't educated, this quote sums it up.

Are you still on about this? People are hypocrites, it's a requirement of the MSDS/SDS library. Don't rock the boat.

blow it up!

Yes, but there's no reason not to point out their hypocrisy to hypocrites.

Sure there is, they will nod and smile to your face, then roll their eyes when you turn away. You can't change other people and shame only hurts the first time.

I'm over my shame of liking your avatars!

It's not a question of changing their minds--it's a matter of calling them out. If you don't call them out (and they don't want to be called out), they'll consider your nonchallenge as validation.

Thanks, on the avatars. I'm in a quandary of which book cover image to use next.
