The Countering Violent Extremism grant was established in 2016 during the Obama administration, and has given $10 million annually to distribute to organizations devoted to combating hate groups around the country. The con artist regime cut funding to the program days after a domestic terrorist killed 11 people at synagogue in Pittsburgh, and almost a week after another domestic terrorist sent bombs to several news organizations and members of Congress. This was on top of the other domestic terrorist who shot up a yoga studio in Florida, and another domestic terrorist shot two black people in a Kroger in Kentucky.
Oddly, the con artist said the program was promising, but instead of leaving it in place, will instead try to convince Congress to get funding to subsume the practice into other areas.
The only explanation given for cutting the program was simply, "Obama."
