The con artist, in a not so shocking announcement, has commuted the 27-year sentence of Sholom Rubashkin who was found guilty in 2008 of of employing illegal immigrants for commercial gain and helping them secure fake documents. In November of the following year, Rubashkin was convicted of 86 counts of federal bank fraud in connection with loans to the company, Agriprocessors.
This comes on the heels of the con artist's pronouncement to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and is now taking down names of countries who vote against such a recognition at the UN assembly.
It should be noted the con artist has said he wants to crack down on illegal immigrants entering this country yet just commuted the sentence of a man who was convicted of using illegal immigrants and providing fake documents to them.
