"When [President Trump] tells you to do something, guess what, there's no ambiguity in it," Trump Jr. said in an interview with Fox News' Jeanine Pirro.

"There's no, 'hey, I'm hoping.' You and I are friends, 'hey I hope this happens, but you've got to do your job.' That's what he told Comey."

So sayeth Con Artist, Jr when asked about the con artist denying he told James Comey to shut down the Russia collusion investigation. As a refresher, the con artist had this to say about Comey's testimony to Congress and his notes about the conversation between he and the con artist:

"He did say under oath that you told him to let the Flynn – you said you hoped the Flynn investigation – he could let go," Karl said.

"I didn't say that," Trump said.

Pressed whether he was saying Comey lied under oath, Trump said, "I didn't say that. I mean, I will tell you, I didn't say that."

So who are you going to believe? The con artist, with a decades-long history of lying about anything and everything, or his son who says when his father tells you to do something, there is no question what he wants you to do?

I'm not convinced that Donald speaks the same language as 'we' do. I say that it is possible that he has lived a a bubble all his life and has never learned to be precise in his language. If he fucks up it's, "Oh darn, try it again Donald," rather than, "Hands behind your back!"

There is a clear line between "As your boss, I'm telling you to do 'xyz'", and "as an onlooker, I hope 'abc' happens".

He may not be a great man, but Trump isn't an idiot. You don't get halfway to his position in life, even without the election, by having an IQ that matches your shoe size. There is also a clear legal line between expressing a wish and giving an order.

On the other hand, Comey has already demonstrated that he's leaked potentially illegal documents to the press, possibly perjured himself, and admitted he let politics take priority over the law (hillary), so his credibility is already shot to hell. I sure as hell wouldn't trust him to tell the truth anymore.

I think Trump's denial of asking Comey to "let it go" is very similar to Clinton's claim the he did not have sexual relations with that woman.

Comey's claim:
The President then returned to the topic of Mike Flynn, saying, “He is a good guy and has been through a lot.” He repeated that Flynn hadn’t done anything wrong on his calls with the Russians, but had misled the Vice President. He then said, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”
Jonathan Karl's claim:
He did say, under oath, that you told him to let the Flynn — you said you hoped the Flynn investigation, you could let — he could let go.
Trump's response:
I didn't say that. I mean, I will tell you, I didn't say that.
Technically, Karl was wrong, and those exact words weren't spoken by Trump.

I would also like to point out that when Trump supposedly said those things to Comey they were alone in the oval office at the time. So anything anyone else (including Don J.) says that they know someone said something to someone during that conversation is absurd. On 2 people know what was said.

Comey supposedly wrote a memo (which no one has seen) which supposedly recounts the conversation as he remembers it. Yet, during his testimony, Comey stated under oath that Trump never ordered him to stop the investigation.

Trump denies he told Comey to stop the investigation.

Based on these two factoids, your conclusion is incorrect. Worse, your premise is flagrantly false.

Trump didn't deny that he told Comey to stop the investigation. He only said that he didn't use the words in the question.
