"Every company in this country should have products made in this country by American workers. Except mine."

That is the gist of the comments by the con artist who has proclaimed this week, "Made in America week". Granted, there is nothing to this proclamation, no awards or parades or anything which might signify this is supposed to be a special week.

Which should come as no surprise since the con artist has repeatedly found excuses for why his name brand clothes, and those of his daughter, aren't made in America. In short, it's a financial decision. Or it's Obama's fault. Take your pick.

"Remember in the old days, they used to have 'Made in the U.S.A.'? 'Made in America' but 'Made in the U.S.A.' — we're going to start doing that again. We're going to put that brand on our product because it means it's the best."

In other words, everyone should have their products made in America. Except when it comes to his products. Because. . . excuses.

BOLDFACE = Rule it out. How many hats said, "Make America Great Again", worn by his supporters, before he even had control of this country?! If some city nearby called itself a country tomorrow, it would be better than America is now.

A female friend used to work in a local up scale clothing store. One of her jobs was sewing labels in clothing. This was back in the 60's when Made In USA meant something.
Most of these clothes were not made in America and the same dress might sell for $5.00 with one label and $55 with the Made in USA label.

I remember when things had 'Packaged in USA' and other crap when they came by container from shops with six year olds working 12 hour shifts in freezing weather for a few cents an hour.

Now even most of our food comes from sweat shops with no health regulations.
Yet members bitch about Coke and Pepsi with fake sugar in it and eat fish swimming in shit water and fed chicken shit from pens over the ponds. Wonder where those chickens that never see or feel real dirt end up?

God Bless America, land of the lost.
I'm waiting for my car tags to be changed from "Land of Lincoln" to "Land of Obama".

I don't think they'll change to that, but the guy who played Abe for Spielberg quit acting after that, so...

Also, I remember the audi in my head of a scripted TV show where an art piece falls & breaks. Trying to piece it back together, members of a group start reading what it says... "Wan.... Tai... It's a genuine Wan-Tai!! No, wait: 'Made In Taiwan'."

I also am reminded of a song by singer-songwriter Robbie Fulks I found myself singing this morning. (Lines in order, nothing skipped)

"Daddy used to catch his Supper in this river
Now you can't swim it
Smells like a 20-ton truck full of paint thinner sank down in it
Come visit a spell, see the plaque to our war-fallen
Nothin' but a good time"

Gotta stop responding to Tromp's dingly bells like Pavlov's dog. Team POTUS will spew almost anything and know that 1) opponents will bite and 2) supporters will ignore. It's a call-and-response game.

Tromp: "Hey, here's some shit!"
Con: "Oh fuck, he said some more shit!"
Pro: "Who cares about that shit?"

Sure, the shit demands response. Meanwhile, keep digging to clearly expose the treason. Slow and steady, folks. He's already stuck his head in the noose.

It won't have the exact same ending, but nobody gets convicted or acquitted if he's never on trial.
That may change after 2018. Or maybe not. Or maybe a stroke will simplify matters.

No, GOP-held Congress and Cabinet won't impeach-remove or 25th-remove Tromp, at least not by 2018 -- UNLESS the GOP see him wrecking their hold on Congress and many states. Then he'll be gone in a flash. Yeah, sure...

NY AG told "Seth Meyers" that impeachment won't just happen the way many seem to think, & also it starts with electing good people into offices. (Latter part of statement made me literally laugh, considering I still believe many didn't vote for Trump & he got the office anyway.)

That said/written, was watching OJ parole coverage today, & read on ticker new FBI Dir. approved by someone (forget who), which made me wonder what good anyone is actually doing when we continue to have issues (according to poll results on same ticker) with more health-care-bill stuff, yet they approve his choices for Supreme & replacing FBI guy he tossed?!

Do you not see this?! Trump's companies & buildings will specifically aim to hire illegals. Then, he will know where large groups of them are, ban each group individually, & appear to have accomplished something.
I put this in the same bin with the idea that Trump might be a Russian mole. I don't believe that he has the necessary smarts.

I put that claim with all the claims made by all the people that Hillary would win... I voted for neither, & everyone lost.

Which makes you just a zero in your own right.

Not hardly. I didn't vote for the person who got the position despite not winning the popular vote, nor did I vote for the person who failed to get the position likely due to people not voting for them due to feeling it was a given they would get the position regardless of that person's vote. I voted for a natural-born citizen, currently alive & well above the required age, but one who likely got no votes other than mine, so would not have won even if you were to subtract the 4-or-so leading candidates everyone was aware of at the time.

I didn't vote for a winner, but when casting my vote, I already knew the person wouldn't win, & the one who "won" turned out to make many around the world lose, so I also didn't cast a vote for the ones making things worse.

So, rather than taking a good look at the candidates and being able to see just where we are if Trump won, you chose to throw your vote away. In doing so, you picked up a share of the guilt for where we are because you don't have the smarts to look directly at the offerings through the media smears and weigh the relative true effect of advantages/disadvantages and discern what is doable and what is disaster. That distinction was quite clear in this presidential election.

I threw nothing away. If you see it that way, it says as much about your vote as mine...

1] We all see now where we end up/head with Trump as President. As for Hillary, I didn't pay any attention at all to E-mails or anything regarding them. Her spouse's past cheating was famous for years, & to the best of my knowledge, he remains her spouse as of this second. If someone is not smart enough to act on that, I don't want them making major decisions that affect my everyday (nor overall) life.

I have plenty of smarts, looked at the offerings, & saw negative outcomes of both major candidates that were getting most of the coverage by most of the media/news. There was no distinction like the one you describe, much less a "clear" one, as both appeared to be bad choices. (One has proven to be just that, & any of us can only speculate at the other.) So I also had the smarts to choose "none of the above".

Umm, no. You totally lose me on this. I'm sure it sounded nifty to you, though.

Beyond that, If you could foresee the effect of Trump (and he offered it to you directly throughout the campaign without any question of media interference) and if you were smart enough to see that Hillary Clinton has been Swiftboated for decades (which doesn't mean she's an angel--but it does mean that she was the most prepared person for the job in the last many decades), and you didn't want all of the shit that's now going on pulling at the fabric of the nation, there really was no choice in the election of what to do with your vote.

As far as Hillary acting on Bill, it's part of why she's a smart cookie. If she'd dumped him "back then" she would have sunk like a rock in her own political ambition. She has needed his network. And if you thought they had been living together all of these years, you weren't paying much attention. They've been effectively separated since she won a Senate seat and moved to Washington and he stayed in New York. If you weren't partisan about this and just looking for whatever you could to denigrate her, you'd give her credit for "standing by her man and forgiveness"--you know, those traditional Republican and Christian values.

I don't care if anything sounds "nifty" (it's a free download someplace anyway), nor what it did to anyone else, since it's either true or my rightful opinion.

Trump offered a lot during the campaign, mostly things that were offensive or have proven to be total crap. Hillary likewise said & did a lot, but as I already wrote, it was largely things she never said or did that made me not vote for her. (I for one think we'd have a Dem in the House if they hadn't chosen Hill for the party.) I also doubt anyone wanted this shit (or that it's doing what you claim it is, let alone to the degree you claim).

Regardless, I do agree there was really "no choice" which is why I chose neither of them.

Your "rightful opinion." My goodness, you are precious. :D

In terms of covering your responsibility to the nation, you also came up a dud in the election.

Wrong on both counts... I am not "precious", & I came-up positive, as the outcome has proven to be negative for the country (if not the world), & I didn't vote for that person.
