Con artist blowing away taxpayer money on golf trips
$13.6 million. That's how much the con artist cost the U.S. taxpayers for four trips to play golf at his failing Mar A Lago golf club in Florida during his first few months in office. That is $3.4 million per trip.
Compare that staggering waste of taxpayer money to the four day trip then president Obama took to Chicago then Palm Beach in 2013. The cost? $3.6 million for all four days.
Not only did the con artist waste millions of taxpayer dollars on his golf game, the taxpayers were even more generous to hand over $60,000 to the failing club for unknown reasons.
That the con artist would pour money down the drain, money which wasn't his, shouldn't be a surprise. He is known as the King of Debt, so why shouldn't the taxpayers get in on the fun? This is also the same person who somehow spent over $100 million on an inauguration which by any standard was average at best. No one who worked on an inauguration committee can figure out how the con artist spent so much money, but with the recently announced investigation into corruption and illegal donations to the inauguration committee, perhaps we'll find out.
