Dune? I thought the Yamaha manual was more painful. ;) But then, I am almost a Harley snob. So it hurts me more than it hurts you perhaps.

Aww, darlin' what did you have to go do that for? Oh well, so much for silly ass stuff.
Actually, I ride a Yamaha, so it hurts me not at all. Why should it? I ride a bike that costs half what a Harley does, has twice the power, three times the reliablity and you don't have to pay a $4,000.00 to $6000.00 dollar ego fee to own one. And before you doubt that I ride (more then most) I've covered around 300,000 miles on a bike in the last 30 years. Nope, I'm sorry but a Hardly just isn't for me. Well I do have to admit the new V-rod is a very interesting bike, But I refuse to pay the aforementioned ego fee to own one. The dealers are adding around $5,000.00 to the 15,000.00 suggested msr. I can't see it, not when I can buy a Yamaha Venture with 98 HP and a five unlimited milage warrentee for $16,000.00.
Anyway I am a died in the wool motorcycle rider.

Hehe. Not everybody pays an "ego charge". :D

I know it's still probably a lot, but hubby paid just under $15,000 for a '98 Road Glide (he bought it new in '99) with cruise control, and fuel injection. Still has it, and still loves it. It's in the shop right now for moving damage, though. :( (and an oil leak and a couple of other things lol)

It's what he had his heart set on, and how could I tell him no? He loves it more than me. ;) And I agree, that V-Rod looks pretty interesting.

But I prefer my car to any motorcycle. :p

I wanna Crotch Rocket

and all I have is this little firecracker:D

I'll wager you are a much better "ride"...of course a good ride depends as much on the operator as it does on the machine...or woman heh heh.:D

Ya knoooooow....

*ala Jack Benny*

You missed a great pun April...

You shoulda said(since Comshaw is whom the thread is addressed to)

"So Comshaw me. Yes, that's a dare."

Now what do ya want me to "shaw" ya?:p

Never watched Jack Benny. I ain't that old! :p

I want you to show me...well, I'll leave that to a more private conversation. ;)

Now...

What is the "Dune" reference about...

In case it refers to the planet Arrakis, I just finished House Harkonnen...another reason for my scarcity...Good book.

So come show me. Yes, that's a dare.

I know that was for Thumper, but damned if it didn't make my heart beat faster! I'm as all fired addicted to sex as I am motorcycles. I'd love to try your "ride". I'll bet your's is better then my bike's. At least I'd love to find out for sure.

A very poor attempt at humor.
I have an extensive sci-fi library and i consider 'Dune" to be one of the heavy's of my collection, hence the reference. I haven't read House Harkonnen yet. I hope it's as good as the last one; House Antreides.

A dare? LOL No comment. :D

I don't read much sci-fi anymore. Have never read any of the Dune books. I'm more into private eye, cop, and lawyer books. Although I do have all the Pern books, and am working on a Camelot series which is fantastic.

I do confess to a naughty pleasure in making men's hearts beat faster. ;)

Or..

stopping them.:D

Post some more pics April...see if you can give out a few cardiac arrests.

Don't read Dune then April...you will have to read them all....lots of pages!

I have yet to read House Atreides...I must go buy that one.

God created Arrakis to train the faithful!

Nope, no more pics. I'm on strike.

(ungrateful wretches)

Waiting for my digi cam.

Talk about stopping hearts. ;)

Awww, crap! I was looking forward to something that not only made my heart beat faster, but caused palpitations too! Damn!

Comshaw

Oh, no more palpitations today, thank you. I've had quite enough for one day.

Aww, geeze! Again? Am I gonna have to take those pics down?

*highly embarrassed*

April

No.

We like them. Don't we guys?

Why be embarassed?? They are magnificent!

Holy Shit. Hope you don't mind my comment. But damn April. I mean.... ummmm... well. Just damn.

Though the one of Thumper didn't work. Darn it.

I checked, and it doesn't work for me either.

Sorry, Merelan, I was referring to the pics of our Thumper that he has sprinkled over the board. ;) Hey, a girl's got to have a hobby, and I don't have any talent in the making things area.

Nope. I can't take credit for that. He is an exhibitionist, you know. ;) Can't stop them from showing off. And he does it so deliciously. Do you agree?

I wonder what else he has? :D

And on that note, I have to go to bed. Should have been there hours ago. Work in the morning, and I will be dead on my feet as it is. But it's so worth it. Hehe
