Can someone tell me If they have any problems with IE? I'm not sure if we have 5 or 6. We just upgraded our computer and have been experiencing some glitches. Hard to explain but there is sometimes a long delay before the computer even starts to look for the url or load a page. It seems to hesitate. Any ideas?

It sounds like you may have some problems with disk access; try scheduling a disk diagnosis and fixup for the next startup/restart and let that run to completion upon your next startup. If it finds errors and fixes them and/or the problem goes away - that is probably what it was.

I have had two different programs that monitor USB devices cause that sort of problem. Use Drwatson, or Ctrl-Alt-Del to check what tasks are running and eliminate any that aren't necessary to being online. (You don't really need the scanner utilities running if you're not planning on scanning anything.)

Defragging your harddrive might help. I have had a badlly defragmented system show similar symptoms.

IE !!

We had the same problem after upgrading to ME be sure to go to the windows update site and get all the security patches and fixes for IE 5.5 and IE 6.
