I have looked at all likes of software stores for a catalouge program that will let me veiw thumb nails of images saved as esp images as well as the normal jpeg etc.
All the damn kids just look at me when I say eps formats .........they have no clue what I'm talking about.
I am in the sign industry and we save our stuff as esp's (A file to cut from on a plotter)

I have just looked everywhere and have come up with nothing...

I really really need a program like this if anyone knows the name of one or a place I can call or look it would be GREAT.

I have thousands of images and some have no books to find them so I have to look at them one at a time or hope there labed with a name not a number and run a search to find the right one.

Anyone have a clue?

Please.............

i think ACDSee will view eps, but i am pretty sure it does not do thumbnails.

damn... ok ignore this post.. back to the drawing board... as it were.

Awwwwwwww man and I was ready to order too.......lol.....Oh well thanks anyhow............

:)

ACDsee has a browse mode that does show thumnails. Not sure about EPS files, it's not a choice when I look at my options/file associations.

May want to look at firehand ember. I know it has many different file associations on it. I have the program and it works great, but I have not checked for that specific file association. Check their web site at http://www.firehand.com/products/index.html hope this helps. Take care. Later.

I'll check each and every one out I know many that I have looked at or used open images just fine but not eps formats.something about them ...........

Thank you all for the leads........

Poked all around there site and I admit it looks good but I wish there was a way I could find out for sure.

Thanks a bunch all I'll sort thru them all maybe see if I can call a few of them too.........;)

That link is their manual.

Appendix 2 lists the file formats they support. No question.

I saw EPS, but not ESP. They may make a plugin.

.EPS files

Hello,

Having used all the graphics thumbnail-catalogers-viewers mentioned above, my absolute favorite is Ulead Photo Explorer. A free version is out there to download. There is also a better version offered for sale. Go take a peek at

http://www.ulead.com/

Good luck.

Irfan View does thumbnails and I haven't seen the image format it hasen't been able to use so you may want to take a look at that.

http://www.irfanview.com/

I checked the file association list in irfanview and it does support Encasulated Post Script (EPS) format. I don't have any files in that format to test it, but it at least claims to support it.

Wix, you might also check out PaintShop Pro -- it not only has a thumbnail browser, but it can print the thumbnails as a hardcopy manual of the images available. (I think IrFanview can too, but I've never tried it.)
