So...

I *could* do it as a series of illustrated stories, but I understand those take weeks to go through the system, and you have marginal control of the layout. (Am I wrong?) Plus nobody reads them.

Or I *could* submit artwork alone, and cross reference.

Or I *could* supplement the fiction here with an instagram account (my art isn't at all X rated, and in any case there is 0 chance I will use Twitter, or X, or whatever it is that nutjob owns).

I realize that stories are about the text, and illustrations -- especially non-explicit ones -- are probably of marginal interest... but it's my artwork, and I like the two together...

So: I'm open to your thoughts as I prepare my first story.

(Actually, my second -- but my first was rejected, because it required formatting beyond the capabilities of this platform.)

You've only got two options - the first is an illustrated story, which you've addressed; the second is separate drawing submissions (which also take a long time, and would appear to get done in monthly, or even less frequent, batches).

You can't link Literotica stories to content off-site - so your Instagram idea is a non-starter.

I get it, wanting to tie artwork to stories, but the reality is, Lit's not a visual site.

Nope. Nothing in the body of the story. You can link to it in your bio, but you're also not allowed to say something like "check out my bio to..." in the body of the story either.

The people who are genuinely interested will find the information, but that's hardly ideal with pictures that accompany text.

There is one option. If none of the pictures involve nudity, they should be perfectly fine to post on the forum. You could start a thread in Story Feedback, include the pictures there, along with an explanation of what the thread is about. You are allowed to link to URLs on Literotica, so that could be added to the opening of the story, which would allow people to find the images at the same time as they're discovering the story.

Ok I got it; well — I may try the alt-version with inline images posted to illustrated, but I really like the story thread idea.

The silly think about not allowing social media tie in’s is that it diminishes the ability to create a dynamic that builds synergy that drives traffic TO literotica…

But given how draconian the owners are about weird little things… I guess I am not surprised. And part of the charm of literotica is it’s 1998 approach to the world.

Thank you for that! That might be the best option, really!
