Community Websites?

I posted this message in the Personals Forum and I'm not sure if that was the right place to post this question so I figured this was the second best place to post this message. Anywho...

Does anyone know of any community websites like http://mydungeonspace.com

Ummm its not so much forum but to be able to post pictures and basicly mold a personal webpage of your own with a search engine to find local friends in your area.

Any help would be appreicated. I apologise in advance if I've posted in the wrong area.

I'm a little confused, Krissy. Are you looking for a website that is similar to that one, for the BDSM crowd, but isn't that specific one? Or are you advertising that one to us? I can't figure it out.

Hello Ma'am,

Actually it's a site I am currently registered to. I am looking for other sites of the same nature. MyDungeonSpace is like MySpace to a Tee but MySpace is extremely slow and it doesn't cater to the BDSM community. Not to mention I hate forums.

So I figured I would ask if anyone new of other sites like the one I posted. It was a link in my profile on that site and I wanted people to see what type of site I was talking about.

You are more then welcome to check my profile Ma'am I am not an affiliate of MyDungeonSpace.

But I can understand what your thinking. I've done a few searches on google but it mainly comes up with forum posts which is why I'm here actually.

Thanks for understanding my skepticism. I'll have to check that site out when I get home.

I have a piece of unsolicited advice for you, though. Don't assume everyone you meet on a BDSM board is a dominant. It's perfectly appropriate to be respectful to people you meet, but there's no need to call random strangers Ma'am and Sir.

I've had varying degrees of success with alt.com, bondage.com and adultfriendfinder.com if those are the type of services you're looking into. Good local searches and compatibility matches. Good luck.

Umm I am registered to Bondage.com and they don't limit you to chatting with others on the forums or previewing images, etc. But I guess it just lacks some elements.

I never bothered with Alt.com or AdultFriendFinder.com cause it had alot of fake profiles on it and limited to what you could do with your profile as a basic user.

If you can think of any others that would be great.

I didnt find much of interest on bondage.com either. It seemed almost stagnant. No reason why you cant make a site what you want, whether it be social networking or dating? I've seen people use collarme for either or.

So no I'm not looking for dating sites.. thou most sites I have seen come with some sort of search options to meet other people.

Okay, so I was right the first time. So far what's been suggested to you is dating sites. You are looking for social networking like MySpace, Friendster, Bebo, etc. I don't know of any others besides My Dungeon Space. You might try looking around here: http://dungeonnet.com/weblinks/

i've had a page at freakefriends since May '06 (hadn't realized it was that long and i REALLY need to update that profile with new pics and stuff... it's very outdated)... with the link listed in my sig here since about that long too. It's a decent kink/fetish site. Most important to me .... everyone there is VERY welcoming of new members...... EVERYONE wants to be everyone else's friend it seems.... nice change from what i'd encountered elsewhere..... and the html is enabled, csi included... scripts work too etc, A profile can be loaded up pretty heavy if you are planning to create one with a whole lot of bling.

Ahh, ok.. kewl.
Not seeing those pics is a good thing maybe... i have since gained 10 pounds (finally ) and look better, ....plus.. after quitting smoking, i smell better too. i really REALLY need to put the time into updating my freakepage.

Good for you that you have quit smoking and gained weight! When you feel you look better that sort of radiates out of you, I find.

oh, i could see the pics on the website, i meant when you clicked the display pic to see more posted pictures in that area
