Has anyone seen the monster.com commercial where the guy is sniffing the business card like its cocaine or a drug of some sort?

good, I am glad That I am not the only one who thought he loked like a loser and that the comercial was dumb

What gets me is...

he's so bloody happy to have his little business cards in his pathetic minimun wage, boss could careless/buy you and sell you, standard depressing gray cubicle job. Yuck. What a yuppie.

Haven't seen that commercial yet, but it does sound pretty stupid.

and worst of all is the fact that some souless addvertising wanker got paid a shit load of money to think up that pile of shit add.

I'd bet we all here could have come up with a better add while taking a dump this morning.

I have not seen the commercial

usually too busy reading,

But what a great start. It was all new material.

Gee, thanks Todd :)

He's so happy to have a cute lil cubicle of his own.
What kills me is the other commercial where the guy is stuck in traffic and enjoys calling his office. His greatest thrill is hearing the secretary recite, "Mr. Johnson's office?"

You know when I hear you guys describing things like that, I'm sorta glad that I'm stuck here for the moment (LOL).

I liked the commercials. I viewed them as celebrating the small things that often get overlooked by an increasingly jaded workplace. These guys now have positions where they warrant business cards and secretaries. These are new and novel things to them, and they actually appreciate them. Most people are part of the rat race, but these two found a little something that in their mind was worth a smile.

I preferred the monster.com commercial better when it was the young kids telling what they wanted to be when they grow up.........

"When I grow up, I want to file all day"
"I want to climb all the up to middle management."
"I wanna be a yes man"
"Yes Woman"
"Yes Sir, coming Sir"
"Anything for a raise, Sir."

Now Guy, I'd have to say that one sounds much better.

Use Kids or animals in commercials here and your pretty what set to seel the product ... what a small fickle world eh?

What can I say, Darling Nikki. It made me laugh everytime I saw that commercial. Not to mention how pathetic is sounded.
