Naaah. I've caught AHers making abusive comments. A few are so dum they sign anonymous comments with their account handles,.

Source that, please (or stop claiming it). I don't believe anyone posting to the AH has done that. You claim it; evidence it.

I've debated this since this thread bumped back up and I think I'm going to go ahead and do it to prove a couple things.

One that the writers here will abuse other writers they take issue with and they'll even take it outside of literotica and second point is the big 'greatest voices of erotica' group was far from innocent as they wanted people to think.

One poster has already seen this through a PM and urged me to post this back then, but I figured I'd wait for a pertinent thread to mention it and that would be this one.

The ugliness with that group was prevalent between April Fools and teh Nude day contests.

Sure bad reviews happen, I've gotten others, but please humor me and click on the name of the reviewer to see other books they critiqued.

Oh look 5 stars to Patient Lee-one of the 'voices'

Oh, Look 5 stars to Freya Lange- another voice

Oh look 5 stars to Shea Mara, yes another voice.

Oh, and note Mr Ryan reviewed the above three books on the same day.

Now of course technically this is all circumstantial, but let's get real. Now if not a member of that group, they are at least a friend of and certainly from here.

Also a bad review on a paid book is a lot nastier and damaging than a one bomb here so its a particularly low move, but hey, that's the game right?

So there's some proof of what happens here.

As an aside if you look back at my reviews you'll see a nice one from Naoko Smith.-and she gave me an even better one on Smashwords. Things turn on a dime here.

That's pretty obvious, yes. It was a pack you ran with and, as Patient-Lee claimed in a post to the forum, benefited from. So there's a little of this and that here. Taking it to the marketplace is a whole new level of nastiness, though. There certainly are some not at all nice folks participating in this Web site.

Agreed. except when I parted ways I left it at that and didn't pull stunts like that. IN fact if you recall the thread in feedback that started it all, I simply referred to the fact I knew for certain there was at least one voting block on lit I knew of and they blew themselves up.

But whatever, point is there's plenty of proof out there that people here will bomb stories of people they have issues with and it doesn't always stay here which is the topic here.

I can't speak of what has and has not been left on JBJ's stories, but I can show proof of mine.

Yes, but you posted two posts with someone very specific in mind. If it was one of your former pals, then I don't disagree with you. If you were trying to finger me, you are off base. I've never read/voted/commented on your stories or writing ability either in the story file or here on the forum--which is more than you can say about me in your posting history to the forum.

I think there's very little more sleazy someone can do than to attack a fellow writer's writing on the AH.

If you go back and look at the post I mentioned it could have been someone trying to sound like you. And the comment does look like it could come from.

You do have a tendency on the boards to throw things at me like I'm the "king of incest' stand remarks like that.

In fact let's do this. This is a thread you started posting a comment someone left on your incest story and after playing around finally came out and said it must have been me.

At the time I hadn't even been on the boards for sometime then after that gone for awhile again because I was at the damn NIH with my wife for a cancer surgery and the last thing I would be doing is posting on anyone's stories.

So if you want to be ticked off I would think that remark I posted could be you, feel free to do so, but don't get righteous about it because you've pointed that finger at me and that link is proof you've done the same thing.

Oh, I think you do down vote and comment on my stories. With what you've thrown at me about my writing on the forum and you being you (I see no difference between you and those you were pals with--they just dumped you because you were extreme even for them) I see no reason why you wouldn't.

But I'm not doing what you do. I've never read/voted on/or commented on your stories and I've never denigrated your writing ability on the forum. If you think so, point it out. From what you've said about yourself and your stories, I think you and a lot of your topics are sick and sleazy, but that doesn't have anything to do with your writing ability. I know nothing about your writing ability, as I haven't read any of it. Doesn't bother me if it's brilliant. It has nothing to do with me. I don't have the competitive sickness that you have and have shown.

But what I do isn't in the least the same that what I believe you do--simply from what you've shown willingness to post on the forum over the years.

And, no, I don't care what you think about that. If you want me to start thinking otherwise (and, no, I don't really care whether or not you do), you could just not attack my writing again on the forum. I don't really see you as capable of changing your patterns, though. Your former buddies said as much to you in their last salvo at you on the forum.
