I am not sure if this is the proper forum for my question, but, here goes...

I have several chapters of two novels that I will soon be submitting for publication. I have posted them here in hopes of getting critiques that might be helpful. I find that is not happening, what would you suggest? Thank you, Amicus

You've posted them where here???

Hopefully not the How To Boards. Didja try the Editors Forum or Story Feedback?
(I'll assume that's where you meant)

I'd try again because if it doesn't strike a chord immediately, it just might drop down the page due to other things being posted.

Okay...whew, boy.

I'm a professional writer. From one writer to another? Take those chapters off this site right NOW. This site doesn't offer copyright protection...anyone can take those chapters down and use them for their own personal use.

If you aren't going to be publishing those stories, then by all means, leave them up...

Secondly, there are better forums for critique. I would recommend you join the Erotic Readers and Writers Association and join the mailing list, and get feedback that way. There are other exceptional groups out there...you can find links to them through ERWA. You need to go through their archives and read everything they have to say. Everything. It is a good tool for a beginner.

If you have more in-depth questions, feel free to PM me.

Good luck to you...

S.
