Comment moderation?

I am curious when comment review started here on Lit. I have no problem with it because sometimes the hate trolls can post anything they want about an authors stories. But I posted a comment tonight and it is pending moderator approval before posting....is this a new thing or has it been ongoing for awhile.

I have to ask what you posted. For some reason you have to wait for moderation. I have been posting here for for 15 years and never had a moderator give me a wait time. I just write it and it shows up.

You must have done something very wrong. Just look at all the crap that shows up here unfiltered.

I never post as anon and never am offensive....this is an exact copy of my post.

Like a number of people who have commented I too was happy to see a new offering by you. However I really think you have fallen into a formulaic rut with your stories.... a number of your stories all follow the same pattern. I wont list it because othere here already have....However I think you missed an opportunity here to have changed the pattern some.

When Nathan is being beaten in the alleyway and John unknowingly saved him you should have let Nathan die in the hospital. At that point John would have still Had Harriet while Victoria would have been alone with her guilt and having to deal with the fact that John lost a leg attempting to save her now dead husbands life

You could have switched the suffering on to the character that deserved it the most while still maintaining the purity of Johns character. Like a lot of people have said in other stories....real revenge is living ones life happily fulfilled. You would not have had to kill Harriet and John could have still maintained his nobility in helping Victoria through her grief with no hope of reconciliation.

Also unless I missed something...can you please explain Harriet's running out of the restaurant into traffic like a mad woman. In one line she is going into the bathroom and next she is running out and ...bam dead. Please explain the reasoning behind her behavior if you can.

Anytime I ever posted a PC, it posted immediately. Perhaps the author deleted it.

Apparently it's an attempt to keep spam comments off the website, checking for outside links within the comment body of text. Some are reporting bugs in the process (truncated comments) however.

He was not referring to a forum post he is referring to commenting in the comment section on a particular story in the story side of the site.

Don't believe I've ever commented on a story. I usually only read them if one comes up in conversation on here. Not a dirty story kind of guy.
If your comments don't post then maybe nobody likes you. I don't know. Why are you asking me anyway? I didn't advertise that I knew this shit. Ask someone who might actually know. Jeez.
