It's funny - I've been around lit long enough (25 years, on and off!) to know that it ebbs and flows.
But this is my first time coming here to find a companion (lower case for now) and my first post looking said companion yielded nice people, briefly.
Is the end of skype part of the problem so now, no one is on the same chat platform?
Maybe the problem is, like Taylor said, me!
It seems like everyone is looking for a little girl these days and I'm not sure how Daddy culture became so prevalent but that's not my thing.

Anyway, I'm still looking for my caustic, assertive, boundary following, communicative, chat partner to maybe turn into more.

It's been a while, as I look on and off. I've had success before with long term relationships so I thought I might try again.

I'm a 40-something female mostly happy at home but alone often so I'm not looking for anything messy or to talk about how much we hate married life or our exes.

What I like: cooking (mostly plant based), travel, exercise, politics, girly things like the spa, good TV shows. I like my job, and I have no problem admitting that I don't really love going out anymore unless it's to concerts - with proper ear protection now! I'm more submissive/masochistic. I'm trying to read more as an answer to limiting social media and not doing well so far.

What I like in a partner: quiet dominance - doesn't need everyone to know his business, someone who likes similar things but not the exact things, someone who isn't ashamed of their home life, someone who has a good job that challenges them and wants to talk about it. Who understands that I have a life off-lit, and understands boundaries. Someone who wants to build a trusting communications-based relationship that could turn into more with the right level of trust and chemistry. An agreement that awkwardness is reality. Ideally someone in their 40s because, lets face it, cultural references in common do matter!

What I don't like: MAGA, MAHA, negging, daddies, people who I know have been sending the same message to everyone on lit for 3 years with no positive outcome. Smoking and drinking. Dick pics and immaturity.

****
So, send me a note and I'll do my best to respond if I think we're a good fit. I use Signal off lit, if we get that far.

Well would you be open to someone in the 30s?

I know I’m probably too late now. I too come and go on this site. And now find I’m a grown man who, not wanting to be a ‘daddy’ has few options here.

I’m 42. Recently Separated, and to be honest just looking for a female to talk to. Maybe explore the more erotic side too, but talking is good.

I always try to remain positive. Will always try to formulate a decent length response and will not pester for a reply as I too have a life outside lit. I think the wait for a reply can be as exciting as the reply itself sometimes.

It’s funny you mention trying to read more to come off social. I recently made the decision to delete all my social media and read instead. I then tried to find an app that I could doomscroll that wasn’t flooded with responses from the uninformed masses. It’s hard haha!

Anyway. I hope that this has at least leaked a bit of interest to respond. Even if it’s to the negative.

I guess the daddy influx is also people asking for them. But, is it real supply and demand or manufactured? Is this what people really want?

The little girl / daddy thing is for me very odd. I don't want a little girl who is pseudo dependent on me, I want a grown, intelligent, independent woman.

it's all a bit ick

Are you still looking for a chat companion to pass those lonely times? I am 55 so a little above your age and quite dominant and definitely not a daddy. I can never see that attraction in that and wanting a little girl. Just seems so wrong to me.

I live alone but am in a relationship of almost 4 years, although I still get lonely and bored as I had to give up work due to a spinal injury.

I am the type of Dom that likes to set daily tasks domestic chores so they can build a daily routine and become better organised.

I have never smoked or taken drugs and only drink socially when out with gf and friends. I enjoy going to see live local bands and tribute acts at a local social club most weekends.

If you are interested and would like to know more then you are welcome to reply here or send a DM.

Good luck in your search. Why you are having trouble finding a suitable companion is a mystery to me, but it does seem to be a common challenge.

You’re too good for most.

I don't kink shame. People want what they want. Since the ratio is like 20:1 on here and the women (at least in chat) seem to want their daddy more than anything else, if the men want any action tonight then they play that role.
