ComicCon HOOOO!

As I recall, Bel, Mal and ABG were suppose to take a trip over the border and feast on lobster today (or rather Bel & ABG were, Mal's not into shellfish).

Did this trip happen? Is everyone's seafood cravings sated?

Wait...let me rephrase that.....
the trip happened, the seafood did not... suffice to say, we had wonderful food back on this side of the border for dinner :D

What happens in San Diego, stays in San Diego! ;)

Well then quit posting pictures about it!

:cathappy:

(actually - please don't stop! I've been loving these!)

ABG failed to mention some important details about the Con...like the fact that it got hotter than it's ever been in San Diego (and most of Southern CA) Saturday and some folk waiting to get into the con dropped from heat stroke. One guy had a seizure on the con floor. And the con was SO packed that 15,000 people were turned away.

Yes, that's right. 15,000--or so we heard. One monster of a con.

:rose: blush! :rose:

 sweet talker! On Sunday, the husband and I were awoken by a wrong number calling my cell phone at the fine hour of 4:45 am. Yes, that A.M.

We found we couldn't go back to sleep, and so rather than spend that last day at the con, we bailed and headed on home while the streets were still empty, the freeways clear and the weather...if not cool at least not scorching. We did have a lovely time while we were there. We always do in San Diego--though I was sorry we couldn't see more of you, Mal and ABG.

Next time, Dude! :cathappy:

I'm afraid I'm one of those people who will rattle on without saying anything, and if you really want conversation, we have to be somewhere quiet, calm and low-energy.

I'm basically boring anyway :) I don't even have the advantage of being cute. :D

:p You are not boring! I loved those hours we had in the pub just chatting. It was great! Though I will agree, you're not cute. I'm cute. You are lovely. Mal has these beautiful eyes. Large and blue-greenish, clear and sparkling like tourmalines.

:D It's great being loved.

We are home. Longer flight home than going out. I do not care for the cattle car approach to airtravel.

Did the cats miss you? Mine had been sticking near me since we got back, making sure I don't leave again. Poor neglected puss.

I was walked on extensively last night :)

We are home safe, I am back at work (ugh), and everyone is alive. I have about a week to starve, exercise and otherwise carve the weight I gained out there off before my monthly weigh-in (I refuse to get on the scale until then, I'll be too depressed).

Bel is now safely out of our corrupting influence... hell, we even managed to make Mexico loose some of it's neon. But he survived, 3113 survived, and there were no natural disasters. That is all we can hope for.

Yes, we are powerful. We can suck the fun out of most anything, even Mexico! :D But we TRY to use our powers for good...sometimes...

Yes, Bel and I survived. But only barely. We're both suffering from Mal withdrawl, and post-Artistic-bi-Guy yearnings. It's going to take years of therapy and healing. Luckily, there is a clinic we can go to. Of course, they treat us like lab rats because we did survive.

Most are not so fortunate.

Hopefully, our continued survival will provide science with ways of helping others. If you'd like to help, please send a small donation to the: Mal & ABG Left Us Bereft Foundation. And God bless.

LOL!

I'm putting my coins in the bank, in a savings account we've marked for TRAVEL. Getting everywhere we need to get in a year is pricy. Next on tap is Toronto, then we are home for a while (as far as I know) until February.

Unless we get everyone to go to Jammiefest.....;)
