Crawl inside, wait by the light of the moon
I'll be home soon

yep, I'm in a meloncoly mood tonight.

Why does love have to hurt so much?

Why does it have to hurt so much to leave it behind?

dammit.....why does life have to hurt so much?

Can I come join you?

We seem to be asking the same questions, maybe at least then we could ask them of each other.

I don't intend to spoil the mood by being analytic, but I know why love hurts.

It is because no-one can write their own story on their own.
Nor can we write anyone else into our story on their behalf. We are but co-authors in each of our relationships, in each of our loves.

Indeed, that's what I'm saying. I can't write the other person's bit for them. The only way for it to work is to let go completely of their end of the story and love what they write for what it is.

I'm with you - it hurts.

Don't ask why! Again, easier said than done, but you can really get caught up with so many negative feelings about yourself and others as you try to figure out what happened when things turn wrong.

Unless you can discuss the issues with the person involved, it's better just to live and learn. Easier said than done again, but it has already saved me from heading down "dead end" streets. There are just questions we are NOT going to get answers to!

I think love hurts because love is the strongest feeling your heart and soul can possess. So when things don't work out, it's gonna hurt!!

Hang in there MoonWolf!:rose:

Life is suffering.

Nothing is ever left behind. It's all still there so far as I am concerned. I have yet to learn how to "un-love." I don't know how to do it.
