Come on I won't bite...

Right here. Where are you? LOL

No matter where I go, here I am. :D

Quite a coincidence indeed!!!!

It is quiet this early Sunday morning (or I guess it is afternoon in your spot on the globe?)

I wanted to be here, but the closest I could get was there.

Which is still better than over yonder.

It is afternoon here but it's quiet even for an afternoon.

Where is ppman, Outty and sexy girl, those UK bastions that so often run the night shift with me?

*sigh*

What time is it? How far ahead of EST are you? Just curious?

I should be like the others on this "side" of the Atlantic Pond, sleeping but cannot as I am wide awake and have been so since 6 a.m. :(

It is 9:22 a.m. in my neck of the woods.......btw

It's 2.18pm here
I had to wake up at half six this morning to take someone to the airport....
and now I've just woken up again...

Welcome to my world. I've already been chatting with ShyLady for 2 hours!

I'm never in bed later than 6:30am, even if I don't get to bed until 6:00am

so it is already Sunday afternoon there............so hows things across the pond this fine day?

Quiet in my local neighbrohood.

I am going to pressure wash my house in a bit and then watch some NFL Football............

would like to try and catch the GP Motorcycle races later too.....

Have you seen Forrest Gump by chance, either of you?

No, never succumbed.

I deal with enough simpletons during the work week :)

I'm just gonna doss around at home all day until I have to go to work this evening....
But I'm still tired.....urgh

Never succumbed to what? Did I miss something?

Well this afternoon I will be dossing around my house whilst watching NFL Football...........

how's that? Is that the correct usage?

How about bollocks? How do you use that one? I am curious here, have heard it said but never asked anyone what type of verbage and how to use it..........

how about chuffed?

Superb....we'll make an englishman out of you yet!

Ok here's a quick diatribe on the the requested words. Bollocks can be interepreted in various ways:

"This curry is bollocks!" - This curry tastes like crap, processed and chopped up, mixed with some vegetables and cooked in a subtle mix of unique spices that give it the most disgusting flavour in the world.

"That Tom Cruise guy, he's talking bollocks!" - Mr Cruise is guilty of expounding on a subject at length which he clearly knows nothing about and his words have not a single iota of truth.

"This curry, it's the bollocks!" - This is a wonderful blend of exotic herbs and spices, cooked in a way that makes my palatte deleriously happy.

"Michael Jordan, he's the dog's bollocks!" - Michael Jordan is a fine upstanding individual, and I would be more than happy to have him as a guest next time I host an evening soiree. Not only that, but he is also an excellent sportsman, and worthy of the highest praise.

That clear it up for you? :D

So if I were to say.................

The soup I had for dinner was complete bollocks.

That would say it was nasty?

My compadre at work is a walking bollock machine

Meaning that he talks junk all the time

The pizza I had for dinner last night, it was the bollcoks.

Meaning that is was superb.

No no! It cannot be used a noun in that manner!
I would deem that as an innappropriate use of the word.....a more british sentence would be to say that your compadre is full of shit .

Any more questions?

Gotcha............ how about the word chuffed? How do you use that one?

oh and Thanks

What? You aren't going to bite? Well, maybe that's why nobody is around. Maybe some of us WANT to be bitten. Or at least nibbled a little. ;)

But before I go....

Chuffed is much simpler....

"I bought a new car, and I'm very chuffed with it." - This new car is marvelllous, and I'm very happy with my purchase, and my ability to seek out good bargains.

"He seems very chuffed with his new abilities." - His newfound popularity with the ladies has made him very happy with himself.

There ya go matey
