Columbus Day

Although the story of Columbus is a fairy tale, I just wonder how it could have turned out differently. If it wasn't Columbus, it would have been someone else. Lot's of revisions to "Indigenous People's Days" which is probably just as big a fairy tale.
 
It’s the last day before Congress reconvenes, and the fireworks really start.
 
It is a wonderful tale, as told, of facing the unknown with courage.



I think the Left only understands courage as standing up to the known
when they know there will be no consequence
and they will probably get their way...

As a resident of Cuenca, Ecuador, I have a female friend who is Ecuadorian. One of her sons works in the USA. In October of the first year he was working in the USA, I told her to inform her son that the first Monday in October is Columbus Day. She asked me, "What does Columbus have to do with North America?" I had a gun time explaining that one.
